Visiting Teotihuacan for the first time can be quite overwhelming because of the site's size. However, we have designed a route that ensures our travelers visit the three main pyramids without having to walk long distances. The tour is private, so we will always go at your pace and give you all the time you need to take photos!
This makes it perfect for people who want to make the most of their time here without having to walk too much (we guarantee you'll see much more than on a traditional tour!). We also won't take you to tourist traps and will provide you with options to choose where you want to have lunch (if you require it), so you will always have control over your time.

1Teotihuacan Pyramids
Teotihuacan is the biggest archaeological site in Mexico. Exploring this place can take a long time and can be exhausting if you don't know where to start. This tour is designed to make sure you visit the three main temples without having to walk too much. You will be at what used to be the most powerfulcity in the Americas almost 2000 years ago! You will learn about the Quetzalcoatl temple (a must see and usually skipped highlight) at the citadel, the Pyramids of the Sun and the moon are part of the itinerary as well. Your professional guide will also take you to the Quetzalpapalotl palace. Here, you'll have the opportunity to admire some of the best well preserved murals. Later on, you'll have the possibility to decide if you want to have a lunch break before going back to CDMX or closer to the Shrine of Guadalupe. You will always have the freedom to decide where to go, however, your guide can also suggest some of the best restaurants in Teotihuacan or back in CDMX.

After having a delicious meal, your guide will drive you to the second most visited Catholic Church in the world; The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the north of CDMX. Here, you will admire some beautiful baroque churches and the "supernatural" painting of Guadalupe at the modern Basilica. Your guide will explain why this is a very important and meaningful place not just for catholics but also for Mexicans in general. It is shocking to see how thousands of people still believe and embrace the story of the appearance of Guadalupe in 1531. You'll find out why it became such a popular tale and learn about its impact today in the Mexican (and global society). Lastly, you will be taken back to your hotel safely. Remember that you will always go at your own pace and will have the possibility to make as many suggestions on the go!
