The journey continues to the Church of Madonna della Palomba, where you'll explore the fascinating underground spaces, including the icehouse, refectory, cellar, cistern, and kitchen.
Finally, you'll visit the Crypt of St. Michael the Archangel inside the Masseria Jesce in Altamura, known for its 14th-century frescoes, including a Byzantine “Deesis” attributed to Giovanni da Taranto and Marian scenes painted by Didaco de Simone in the 17th century. A unique experience to discover the art and history of Basilicata, all comfortably reached by private transfer.
