Charles V Palace is an imposing Renaissance building located within the Alhambra of Granada, Spain. Ordered built in 1527 by Emperor Charles V, its design is the work of the architect Pedro Machuca. It stands out for its square plan with a circular courtyard inside, a unique structure in Spanish Renaissance architecture. Although never a royal residence, its construction symbolizes imperial power and the fusion between Renaissance art and the Andalusian tradition of the Alhambra.
Generalife is a set of palaces and gardens located on the Alhambra Hill in Granada, Spain. Built in the 13th century as a rest home for Nasrid sultans, it stands out for its simple architecture and lush gardens, full of fountains, courtyards and greenery. Its most emblematic space is the Patio de la Acequia, with a water channel flanked by flowers and arches. The Generalife reflects the harmony between nature and architecture characteristic of Islamic art and offers spectacular views of the Alhambra and the city of Granada.
El Partal is one of the oldest and most picturesque areas of the Alhambra of Granada, Spain. Built at the beginning of the 14th century during the reign of Muhammad III, it stands out for its elegant Portico of the Partal Palace, with five arches that are reflected in an elongated pond, creating a stamp of great beauty. Surrounded by gardens and remains of old noble houses, the Partal offers one of the best views of the monumental complex and represents the essence of Nasrid art, where architecture and landscape are integrated in perfect harmony.
