We offer a private tour to the heart of whisky country. Visit any Whisky Distilleries you want, and an example itinerary is in the Tour Details. All are subject to availability and most distilleries require advance booking for a Guided Tasting Tour, but not for just a tasting.
On a Distillery Tasting Tour you will learn the secrets of how Scotland's most famous drink is crafted and then you have the opportunity to sample the beautiful offerings.
We can recommend which distilleries to visit if required, but wherever we take you, you know you can sit back and relax and let us do the driving.
Some of the most popular distilleries on Speyside are Macallan, Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, Aberlour, Glenfarclas, Ballindalloch, Balvenie and GlenAllachie.
We will book the internal guided tasting tours for you and invoice you separately via PayPal.
We will also book you in to a great local restaurant for lunch.
Option to include a Castle or Cooperage Tour.
Please contact us for details.
We pick you up from your hotel or accommodation in the Aberdeen area, train station, cruise liner or airport. Accommodation located outside of Aberdeen city may incur pick up surcharge.
These are examples of distilleries we can visit and are the most popular. Glenfiddich is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family owned and is now the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, a true reflection of the founder’s innovative nature, passed down through the generations. Learn about our family of maverick whisky makers, the history of Glenfiddich and the whisky making process All guests can choose which distilleries they wish to visit.
A relatively smaller distillery but the visitor centre and the whisky are award winning and highly revered. Not to be missed if you like a "dram". Tours and or tastings available.
This is a fine example of a restaurant/bar we may stop at for a traditional Scottish lunch. Excellent food and 250 different whiskies on sale.
One of the best known and loved distilleries, Glenlivet holds a special place in the hearts of malt lovers. For 200 years they have been perfecting the art of making whisky. The fascinating tour takes you behind the scenes and includes a tasting of their many fine offerings. Tastings only (no tour) are available.
Instead of distillery you may wish to visit a castle. Dunnottar Castle is one of the most impressive ruined castles in Britain as is its location impregnably placed on a massive plinth of rock overlooking the sea. North East Scotland has many amazing castles and this in an example of one we may visit on your day out. Most castles in Aberdeenshire are free to see, but will charge for a private internal tour.
Above is an example itinerary but you can choose your own distilleries (all subject to availability).
