You and Only your group take a horseback ride to the amazing Mayan ruins of about 1.5 ride each way on a private tour for your party only; flexible schedule: 8am pickup or 9am pickup, you choose the length of time you take at Xunantunich.
You also have the freedom to ride both ways or only one way followed by lunch at a local restaurant at the end of tour, pickup & drop off to your hotel in San Ignacio town.

Meeting and pickup
Please send us your FULL name of your hotel; FULL address of your airbnb or guesthouse. For your (and our horses) safety and comfort, your WEIGHT is confirmed at our St Leonard's Stable, and you will be fitted to your appropriate horse and tour limit.
Our entrance to our St Leonard's tours, stable is at Mile 71 George Price Highway aka Western Highway. Our St Leonard's Tours sign is on the RIGHT side of the highway (coming from San Ignacio town to us).
What to expect
Once your guide/wrangler has given you instructions as to how to mount; manage & control your horse you will then ride through open savannah, river side trails, jungle trails on your way to a modern day Mayan village of SAN JOSE SUCCOTZ, where you will dismount at the small hand cranked ferry before crossing the Mopan River.
You will exit the ferry: lead your horses out of the ferry and once on solid ground you will once again mount your horses and ride for another approx 1 mile to Xunantunich. At Xunantunich your guide will take you on a tour of the site at your pace and your interest (anytime from 1 - 3 hours guided tour)
After your guided tour of Xunantunich you will ride back to our St Leonard's stable and then driven to a local restaurant in San Jose Succotz, for your lunch. (NB: You will have the choice of NOT RIDING back to our Stable if you choose to)
