Live the Day of the Dead in a way impossible to find on commercial tours : as part of a true family originally from Tláhuac.

Not only will you observe, but you will actively participate in the rituals: you will place your flower or candle on the offering, hear narrated legends in the grandmother’s house and walk with the family to their ancestral pantheon.

Between candles, music and prayers, you will discover how this celebration connects the living and dead in an intimate and authentic atmosphere. Only 15 places available, guaranteeing closeness, respect and a once in a lifetime experience.

What to expect

Step into the heart of Día de Muertos as part of a true Mexican family from the Valley of Mexico, with deep roots in Tláhuac that keep ancestral traditions alive. Away from the tourist shows, this intimate experience will allow you to live the celebration as locals do.

You will tour private offerings raised in the homes of our family members, surrounded by cempasúchil, candles and traditional aromas. Afterwards, you will be welcomed to the grandmother’s house—today an ancestral symbol—to share stories, legends, and the spiritual sense of each ritual.

Finally, you will accompany the family on their way to the pantheon in Tláhuac. There, between candles, music, prayers and typical food, you will celebrate as part of the family, in an atmosphere that unites the living with those who have left.

This is not a tourist experience: it is an authentic cultural immersion, limited to only 15 people to ensure privacy and real connection.

Includes: roundtrip transportation from your CDMX accommodation, typical foods, non-alcoholic beverages and a local host who will guide every moment of the evening.
