At an elevation of 8,415 feet (2,565 meters) above sea level, you'll pay homage to the previous king of Chiang Mai, whose remains are enshrined here. Venture onto the Angka Luang Natural trail, leading to a mesmerizing lookout point. From this vantage, you'll admire the forest from a unique perspective, with its lush cover of lichens and wild orchids. Keep an eye out for sightings of rare bird species along the trail.
