What to expect

Day 1: You will be picked up at your hotel in Pokhara and driven to Nayapul (1.5 hours). From Nayapul, you will start your trek to Tikhedunga (4 hours). The hike is relatively easy and passes through small villages and rhododendron forests.

Day 2: After breakfast, you will continue your trek to Ghorepani (6-7 hours). The trek is more challenging, but the views are stunning. You will climb through rhododendron forests and meadows, and pass by traditional Nepali villages.

Day 3: Early in the morning, you will hike to Poon Hill (3210 meters) to watch the sunrise. The sunrise from Poon Hill is one of the most iconic views in Nepal. You will see a panorama of the Annapurna mountain range, including Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri. After sunrise, you will trek to Tadapani (4-5 hours). The trek passes through rhododendron forests and bamboo thickets.

Day 4: You will trek to Ghandruk (3-4 hours). The trek is mostly downhill and passes through traditional Nepali villages. Ghandruk is a large Gurung village with a beautiful view of the Annapurna mountain range.

Day 5: You will trek to Nayapul (3-4 hours) and then drive back to Pokhara (1.5 hours).
