What to expect

This 6-day trek takes you through authentic Gurung villages, alpine meadows, and breathtaking Himalayan scenery. Starting from Sikles, a traditional Gurung settlement, you’ll experience warm local hospitality and stunning views of the Annapurna and Lamjung ranges.

As the journey unfolds, you’ll trek through rhododendron forests and hillside trails leading to Kapuche Lake (2,546m), known as the lowest-altitude glacier lake in the world. Here, you’ll witness crystal-clear waters fed by glaciers with panoramic views of Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal, and other peaks.

The adventure continues to Kori Danda (3,800m), a high ridge that offers 360-degree views of the Annapurna massif, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and Manaslu range. It’s one of the best viewpoints in the Annapurna region, yet still off the beaten path, making it a true hidden gem for trekkers.

Throughout the trek, you’ll enjoy cozy teahouse stays, traditional meals, and the chance to immerse yourself in Gurung culture and lifestyle. This is a moderately challenging trek, perfect for travelers seeking natural beauty, cultural immersion, and peaceful mountain trails away from the crowds.
