You launch from Sarangkot, Pokhara's main paragliding site at 1,592m, after a short briefing from your certified tandem pilot. A few steps forward, and the ground just isn't there anymore.
For 25 minutes you glide above Phewa Lake, green hills, and small villages, with Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Lamjung Himal, and Himchuli in view the whole time. Eagles and vultures often share the same thermal currents.
Landing happens near Lakeside, close to where you started. Free hotel pickup and drop-off, plus a complimentary photo and video package, means nothing to arrange beyond showing up.
No hiking, no altitude training, no experience needed. Your pilot does the flying — you get twenty-five minutes most people spend the rest of their trip talking about.
