On Day 1, meet your guide in Lukla and begin trekking along a gentle trail beside the Dudh Koshi River. The walk to Phakding takes about 3–4 hours, passing prayer wheels, mani stones, and traditional Sherpa villages along peaceful forest paths. Upon arrival, check into a comfortable tea house and relax for your first night in the Everest region.
On Day 2, continue your ascent toward Namche Bazaar, trekking for about 6–7 hours. Cross several high suspension bridges and enter Sagarmatha National Park as you follow the Dudh Koshi River through pine forests and scenic valleys. As the trail climbs, the mountain views begin to open up. A final steady ascent brings you to Namche Bazaar — the lively Sherpa hub with cafés, bakeries, gear shops, and beautiful Himalayan views, where you can relax and explore.
On Day 3, set out on a rewarding hike above Namche to the famous Everest View Hotel, walking for about 3–4 hours round trip. The trail climbs gradually, revealing wide mountain vistas with Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku rising across the horizon. Take time to enjoy the views and a warm drink before descending back to Namche. Spend the afternoon at leisure — explore local museums, stroll through nearby villages, or relax and take in the mountain atmosphere.
On Day 4, descend back along the trail toward Lukla, trekking for about 6–7 hours. Retrace your route through Monjo, Jorsalle, and Phakding, enjoying new views of the river valleys and forests along the way. By late afternoon, arrive in Lukla and settle into a local lodge. Enjoy a warm meal, celebrate the journey, and rest overnight before your flight back to Kathmandu the next day.
