Towards the end of the pass stop the Aare River Gorge and take a short walk between impressive rock formations before heading along the shores of Lake Brienzersee to your beautiful hotel in Interlaken.
The beautiful Grimsel Pass zigzags gently trough towering granite, tunnels, past hazy blue and water reservoirs before almost seamlessly connect to the legendary Furka Pass.
Take a stroll past the wooden houses of Andermatt.
Up here visit also the easily accessed 100-metre long blue ice tunnel and ice chamber that has been cut new into the Rhone glacier every spring since around 1870.

The pass follows the Albula river for a while and is somewhat more beautiful in the northern section. Before you reach Berguen you have to climb the pass along side a cliff with a few serpentines. Up here a wonderful view over the Albula canyon is waiting.
The railways follows parallel to the Albula Pass for some time and with a bit of luck you can see one of the trains crossing over the Albula Pass on one of the impressive stone viaducts. There is also an interesting railway museum in the town of Bergün to visit.
The Klausen Pass is an incredibly scenic drive in the Central Swiss Alps connecting Altdorf in the canton of Uri with Linthal in the canton of Glarus. With only one hour drive from Zurich you can reach the Klausen as the first real alpine pass in Switzerland with an an elevation up to 1948 metres (6,391ft) above the sea level. Over 46 kilometres (29 miles) and 136 curves the stunning pass is spoiling us with incredible views.
