The "Swing Bridge" is Belize's first bridge built to connect both the southern and northern sides of Belize City. It was built in 1923 and was the only manually swung bridge in Central America. The bridge sits across the hauler creek and displays the scenic view of down-town Belize City.

Henry Edward Ernest Victor Bliss was a British engineer who fell in love with Belize after sailing here during the last 3 months of his life. During that time, he willed 2 million British Honduras dollars to a trust that has since been used to develop key projects in Belize's agricultural, educational and medical sectors. He is known as Belize's greatest benefactor. The lighthouse and grave serves as a historic monument that pays homage to the generosity of Baron Bliss.
This Anglican Cathedral is one of the eldest places of worship within Belize. It was first started in 1812, and was made "brick by brick" by African slaves. Its beautiful design and magnificent upkeep will have you in awe as you stare back in time.
This is Belize's principal judicial hub since its construction in 1926 to present. Its unique design is based off British colonial architecture. The tower clock was once the main time piece for many Belizeans; as it would ring very loudly at certain times.
