Unbelievable scenic native bushes mixed with some amazing canyoning awaits, right here in Tokyo. Just a train ride from the center of the city will transport you into the luscious green hinterland of Tokyo's Okutama area. Descend moss laden ancient canyons using a variety of techniques; jumps, slides and repelling with waterfalls over 80 feet (25m)!

What to expect
Experience the thrill of canyoning within the pristine nature of Okutama, a haven of crystal clear water and lush green forest on the outskirts of Tokyo. The two main courses in Okutama are MONONOKE and BIG MONONOKE Canyon.
If you are looking for an easy introduction to the fun of canyoning MONONOKE is a fantastic place to start! If it's your first time but you want some decent thrills and a technical course then BIG MONONOKE is the place to start. It's a step up from Mononoke canyon.

- Minimum age is 13 years
- Minimum number of participants required for tour departure is two. Canyons reserves the right to cancel any tour where the minimum number of participants is not reached.
- Moderate fitness is recommended
- Okutama is located within the western part of Tokyo prefecture outside of the hustle and bustle of central Tokyo, is surrounded by lush nature and can be accessed by car or using local train departing from Tokyo or Shinjuku stations

- The only required items to bring on the tour are your swimwear and towel
