Embark on a 3-day adventure through Northern Vietnam's stunning landscapes. Starting with an early departure from Hanoi, you'll drive to Cao Bang, where you'll explore the historic Pac Bo Cave and the scenic Wind Pass. On day two, marvel at the beauty of Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of Vietnam’s most impressive, and visit the mystical Holy Eye Mountain. The final day takes you to the peaceful Ba Be Lake for a boat ride to Fairy Pond, An Ma Temple, and Widow Islet, before returning to Hanoi. The tour includes transport, guided tours, meals, and accommodations for a memorable experience of Northern Vietnam.

06:00 - 06:30: The vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter or at the Opera House to depart for Cao Bang via the Hanoi - Lang Son - Cao Bang expressway. On the way, the group will stop for a break, where guests can enjoy breakfast on their own. Experience Bong Lau Pass, famous for the Autumn-Winter Border Campaign of 1950. Noon: Have lunch in Cao Bang City, then continue the journey to Pac Bo
14:00: Arrive at Pac Bo and visit the Pac Bo Historical Site (located 50km from Cao Bang City). Here, guests will visit the living and working quarters of President Ho Chi Minh during the resistance years from 1941 to 1945. The group will take souvenir photos at Lenin Stream - Karl Marx Mountain, visit Coc Bo Cave, and take photos at Milestone 0 of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. On the return journey, the group will visit the Heroic Martyr Kim Dong’s Grave site.
18:00: Return to Cao Bang City for dinner, then check into the hotel to rest. In the evening, you are free to explore Cao Bang City at night. Overnight stay in Cao Bang.
06:30: Check out of the hotel and have breakfast. Afterward, the group boards the vehicle to begin the journey exploring the Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark. Covering over 3,275 $km^2$, this park showcases 500 million years of Earth's history through fossils, marine sediments, volcanic rocks, and spectacular limestone landscapes. In 2018, it became Vietnam's second Global Geopark. Along the way, enjoy the views of Ma Phuc Pass.
09:00: Arrive at Ban Gioc area. Guests will visit and take photos at: Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave): One of the most beautiful caves in Northern Vietnam. Located 5km from the falls, it was surveyed by the British Royal Caves Association in 1995 and stretches 2,144 meters with three main gates. The cave features a diverse array of stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Khuoi Ky Stone Village: A 400-year-old village in Trung Khanh famous for its unique stone stilt houses, embodying the ancient beauty of the Northeast mountains. Ban Gioc Waterfall: Standing 53m high and divided into 3 tiers, this is considered the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam and the 4th largest border waterfall in the top 10 most magnificent waterfalls in the world.
12:30: Have lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, the vehicle and guide proceed to Ba Be Lake. En route, visit the famous Phuc Sen blacksmith village. Continue conquering scenic passes such as Tai Ho Sin, Khau Khang, Cao Bac, and Gio Pass before arriving at Ba Be.
18:30: Arrive at Pac Ngoi Village on the banks of Ba Be Lake. Check into a Homestay to rest. 19:30: Dinner and overnight stay in Ba Be. In the evening, guests may choose to join a cultural exchange, light a campfire, or listen to a Then singing performance by the Tay people (expenses self-paid).
Suddenly waking up in a space that seems to hold its breath, where only the distant sounds of insects echo. I gently step out of the bedroom toward the balcony, stunned by the rustic and mystical beauty of Ba Be Lake—mist drifting across the water, clinging to treetops, and veiling the pathways... Brewing a hot cup of coffee, I sip slowly and feel the very breath of heaven and earth. 06:30: Have breakfast at the homestay and relax.
07:30: The tour guide accompanies you on a walk to Pac Ngoi boat wharf. Board a boat to relax, take photos, and visit the following sites:Ao Tien (Fairy Pond): Spanning over 3,000 $m^2$, the pond is surrounded by limestone mountains and primary old-growth forest; its water is crystal clear and cool.An Ma Temple: Legend has it that during the feudal war between the Le and Mac dynasties, the Mac generals were defeated and fled to Puong Cave, where they ended their lives. To honor their loyalty, locals built a temple for the Mac family. However, fearing suppression by the Le royal army, they renamed it An Ma Temple. In the Tay ethnic language, "An Ma" means "peaceful, beautiful grave"—the resting place of the loyal Mac officials.Ba Goa Island (Widow Island): A charming small island located right in the center of the lake, closely linked to the legend of the lake's formation.11:00: Return to the homestay to rest. Afterward, have lunch, check out, and board the vehicle back to Hanoi.
18:30: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the program. See you again!
