Upon arriving in Bangkok on Day 1, you will transfer to your hotel and enjoy an afternoon long-tail boat excursion along the Chao Phraya River, stopping at Wat Arun. Day 2 focuses on cultural highlights, featuring visits to the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Pho, and the historic Jim Thompson House. On Day 3, you will take a day trip to the ancient capital of Ayutthaya to explore Wat Phu Khao Thong, Wat Phra Si Sanphet, and the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace. Finally, Day 4 concludes with breakfast and free leisure time before your private transfer to the airport for departure.

    Arrival in Bangkok – Chao Phraya boat excursion

    In the morning, on arrival in Bangkok, you are picked up and transferred to a hotel. In the afternoon, we take a long tail boat for an excursion along the Chao Phraya River and many bustling interior canals that offer fantastic views of local life close by. Along the way, we stop at Wat Arun, the temple of the Dawn. Time free and overnight in Bangkok.

    Bangkok Royal Palace - Jim Thompson House (B)

    Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan

    After breakfast, we visit the Grand Royal Palace dedicated to the ceremony of the royal family of Thailand. In the same compound is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew which is known for the Statue of the Emerald Buddha. After visiting this complex, we continue to visit Wat Pho, a giant house of the reclining Buddha.

    Afternoon transfer to the Jim Thompson house, in the heart of Bangkok’s city center: start by learning the story of the American businessman and traveler, who made it his life’s work to bring Thai silks to the world’s fashion houses, and then explore his remarkable home. This is one of the best places in Bangkok to see traditional Thai teak homes, as Thompson assembled his using historic houses shipped to Bangkok from around the country. Find out what is known — and what remains a mystery — about Thompson’s 1967 disappearance in the Malaysian jungle, then explore the collection of art that he assembled during 25 years in Thailand.     Bangkok – Ayutthaya - Bangkok

    In the morning, we will depart to Ayutthaya; it takes about more than an hour to reach the former Thai capital. Witness the glory of the ancient capital through its temple and palace ruins. First, you will visit Wat Phu Khao Thong, or the “Monastery of the Golden Mount”, which is located just outside Ayutthaya

  • Wat Phra Si Sanphet (Pass by)

    Then you will proceed to the ancient palace and Wat Phra Si Sanphet. You will also visit Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit, one of the largest bronze Buddha's in Thailand. Have lunch by your own account. Afterwards you will visit Wat Lokaya Sutha. This temple enshrines a large reclining Buddha image. Our last visit will be the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, built during the Ayutthaya era. The palace showcases an eclectic collection of buildings that blend European, Khmer, Thai and Chinese architectural styles. It’s the favorite summer palace of the King. At the end of the afternoon, return to the hotel and have free time for relaxation.
