08:00: Arrival at Laem Chabang Port. 08:30 - 09:00: Meet & greet at Laem Chabang Port's cruise terminal. Our tour guide will be waiting at the dock holding a welcome sign with your name for easy recognition. 09:00: Depart for Bangkok. The transfer takes approximately 2.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions. 10:30: Arrival in Bangkok.
Wat Pho (The Temple of the Reclining Buddha): One of the largest and oldest temples in Bangkok. It remains an important center for Traditional Thai Medicine and the Traditional Thai Massage School. Canal Tour by Private Long-Tail Boat: Continue your exploration of Bangkok along the bustling Chao Phraya River and quiet Klongs (canals), passing by picturesque scenes of local Thai river life.
Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn): Viewable from the river, this important landmark is located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River. Its main shrine, decorated with glazed porcelain and ceramics, rises 67 meters into the sky. Built during the early Rattanakosin era, this magnificent temple reflects the glory of Thai culture, with its central Prang (spire) being the highest in Thailand, symbolizing Hindu-Buddhist cosmology.
Pak Klong Talad (Flower & Vegetable Market): Primarily known as a wholesale flower market serving everyone from street vendors to florists. It also features a great selection of fresh vegetables, which are brought in during the pre-dawn hours to be distributed to neighborhood markets across Bangkok for morning sales. Pak Klong Talad is the most prominent wholesale flower and vegetable market in town. 17:30 - 18:00: Check-in at your hotel to freshen up and relax.
After breakfast at the hotel, check out of your room. 08:00: Meet up with your driver & guide again to start the day. The Royal Grand Palace & The Royal Temple: This is the perfect introduction to Thailand’s architecture, culture, and tradition. You will visit the highlight attractions around this complex, including The Royal Temple (Wat Phra Kaew, The Temple of the Emerald Buddha), The Golden Chedi, Pantheon of the Chakri’s Kings, a miniature replica of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Coronation Throne Hall, and the Royal Reception Hall.
Jim Thompson House: After the palace, we will continue our tour to the Jim Thompson House and step inside the "House on the Klong" (House on the Canal). This is the Bangkok residence and art collection owned by Jim Thompson, also known as the "Thai Silk King"—an inspirational man with a fascinating house and an extraordinary life story of an American man.
Shopping at MBK Mall: Next, we will go shopping at Craft Village on the 6th Floor of MBK Mall before having lunch. At 12:00: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, tasting local food. After lunch: We embark on our return journey to Laem Chabang, where you will rejoin your ship. 15:00 - 16:00: Arrival and drop-off at the cruise terminal at Laem Chabang Port. Trip ends!
