La Sainte Chapelle is the most remarkable gothic gem in the capital you shouldn't really miss. Our visit starts with the birth of Paris, its first inhabitants and some significant events that made of this island the heart of the city . After it, we will head toward one of the finest example of french gothic architecture called La Sainte Chapelle built to host the relics of Jesus in the 13th century. You will be astonished by the beauty of its walls covered with stained glass windows. We will learnt about the life of king Louis IX who became a Saint and who participated in the last two crusades, life in the middle ages,importance of relics in the middle ages and a few crunchy anecdotes. The guided visit lasts about 45 minutes

The meeting point is OUTSIDE La Sainte Chapelle located at 10 Bd du Palais, 75001 Paris (Google Map shows the door of la sainte chapelle. This is not the meeting point) Please don't get in any line and don't pass security check. Look for the tour guide holding a YELLOW FABRIC BAG at GROUP ENTRANCE.
