Begin with a guided visit of the exterior of the cathedral. Then continue with a guided visit inside Notre-Dame Cathedral. After the guided portion, you will have around 30 minutes of free time inside the cathedral. You can stay longer in the nave, visit chapels, spend a quiet moment, take photos (respecting the rules of the site) or simply enjoy the atmosphere before leaving the cathedral at your own pace.
