Built in 1726 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, this fort was constructed to protect the Amber Fort and is famous for housing the Jaivana Cannon, the world's largest wheeled cannon.
Next, you will visit Hawa Mahal, a stunning palace constructed in 1799 for the royal ladies. Made beautifully with red and pink sandstone, it sits at the edge of the City Palace.
Take a break and savor the flavors of city's delicious local cuisine. Your guide will recommend the restaurants where you can enjoy an authentic dining experience.
The guide will then show you the City Palace of Jaipur. Here, you can explore the beautifully patterned gardens and the architecture of the building located at the center of Jaipur. Initially the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur, some parts of the palace are now reserved for a museum.
Next, you will visit the Jal Mahal, also known as the Water Palace. Situated in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake, it is built in Rajput style architecture. This 17th-century architectural beauty is the perfect spot for peace lovers.
At the end of your tour, you will visit the Jantar Mantar observatory, which houses the most significant and best-preserved set of fixed monumental instruments built in India in the first half of the 18th century.
