Meeting and pickup
Get picked up from your hotel in Phuket located near the main road. If you are staying on the hill or at a private villa or airbnb, you have to come to a nearby hotel. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed by email after you have made the booking. 1SeaStar Andaman - Day Tours
Start the eco-friendly snorkel adventure with a convenient hotel pickup in the early morning by minivan from all major areas in Phuket and travel on road to Tup Lamu in Khao Lak. Meet the friendly and energetic guides of SeaStar Andaman at the private pier and pick out your snorkeling gear after enjoying a light breakfast. Cruise on a first class speed boat to the beautiful Similan Islands in less than 80 minutes. Appreciate the scenery as you make your way to your first snorkeling spot at Koh Payu or Koh Ha (Island No. 5 & 6), depending on the sea conditions. Explore the stunning coral reefs and giant underwater boulders in clear waters with plenty of colourful fish. Our guides will explain you how to protect and conserve coral reefs through environmentally friendly guidelines for your snorkelling experience. Continue to Koh Miang (Island No. 4) to spend some time at the super soft white sand beach of Princess Bay before enjoying a yummy Thai food in a lunch box. A nature trail through the island to Honeymoon Bay offers sightings of flying fox bats, Poo Kai (the chicken crab), and, the now rather rare, Nicobar Pigeon. Continue to Christmas Point at Koh Bangu, the Island No. 9, for one more snorkeling opportunity with massive coral heads in The Mooring, and Snapper Alley for Asian snapper living among the giant rocks. The last stop is at the tranquil waters of Donald Duck Bay on Koh Similan, the Island No. 8. Here you can relax on the beach or hike to the island's iconic viewpoint at Sail Rock before heading back to the pier where a light snack with fresh fruits and drinks are awaiting you. Get transferred back to your hotel and replay the day's happenings. Please note that the Similan Islands National Park is officially opened to the public from 15th October until 15th May. Itinerary: • 05:30 - 07:20: Hotel pickup in Phuket • 07:20 - 08:30: Transfer to Tup Lamu Pier in Khao Lak • 08:30 - 09:00: Meet the boat crew of SeaStar Andaman and enjoy a light breakfast • 09:00 - 10:45: Cruise by speed boat to Similan Islands • 10:45 - 11:45: Snorkel at Island No. 5/No. 6 (depending on the sea conditions) • 11:45 - 12:45: Enjoy Thai food in a lunch box at Koh Miang (Island No. 4) • 12:45 - 13:15: Relax at the super soft white sand beach of Princess Bay • 13:15 - 14:15: Snorkel at Christmas Point/Namchai Bay at Koh Ba-Ngu (Island No. 9) • 14:15 - 14:45: Climb up to the iconic viewpoint of Sail Rock • 14:45 - 15:15: Relax and swim at the beach of Koh Similan (Island No. 8) • 15:15 - 16:45: Cruise back to the pier in Khao Lak • 16:45 - 17:00: Enjoy a light refreshment • 17:00 - 19:00: Transfer back to the hotel
