Nestled between the sea and the Northern Alps, Toyama’s Spring Quartet of Flowers offers a breathtaking journey through the changing beauty of Japan’s four distinct seasons. This unique tour takes you to the heart of Toyama Prefecture, where you can see the yellow nanohana(rapeseed blossom) flowers, colorful tulips, pink cherry blossoms and snow-capped mountains. Along the way, you’ll visit various different cherry blossom trees, interesting water features and a temple in a small valley in the mountains, immersing yourself in the culture and natural beauty of the region. Enjoy the harmony of nature and tradition as you explore Toyama’s floral treasures, each one telling its own story of the passing year.

The meetup point is outside of the Shinkansen ticket gates, in front of the information center and you will see four large sumo wrestlers lined up. Be sure to look for the guide wearing a SNOW MONKEY RESORTS tour tag.

    Start Point! Meet near the information center with the four sumo wrestlers which is within the station.

    Arrive at the Spring Quartet! You can see all the flowers, cherry blossoms and mountains in the background. Walk around and enjoy the scenery and if you want lunch, stop by one of the stalls. This is also a great time to slow down and just relax.

    Arrive at Nisseki Temple and get a guided tour of the grounds. Feel free to walk around at your own pace as well. Afterwards there will be time for you to explore on your own and get that perfect picture. Also, don't forget to check out the small valley nearby.
