Your guide will meet you at the SILVER clock tower and will be holding a SNOW MONKEY RESORTS sign. If arriving by Shinkansen, the SILVER clock tower will be straight ahead as you exit the gate. If coming via JR, follow signs to the Taiko-Dori Gate; the silver clock is near the Taiko-Dori exit.

    At our first stop, you will learn more about nerikiri—what they consist of and how they are made. Then, you will try your hands at making two of these beautiful confections for yourself.

    Your tour guide will lead you through the tea fields and explain not only how tea is grown, but also what makes the tea leaves from this region such a premium ingredient.

    At a historical tea house and garden, you will have a chance to relax as you sip a cup of Nishio matcha served alongside your handmade Neirkiri sweets.

    Tour a matcha factory where you will get a behind the scenes look at how matcha is made. You will also have the rare opportunity to grind matcha from locally grown leaves using a traditional matcha mill. There will also be plenty of time to shop for matcha and all other manner of tea related products to bring home as a reminder of your time in Japan.
