Akatsuki Square (暁の広場), JR Osaka Station Meet at Akatsuki Square, 1F North Gate Bldg, JR Osaka Station (near Central Exit). Look for the two escalators; please wait on the first floor—do not go up.

Time for the hike on the abandoned railway turned hiking trail. Enjoy the scenery of the gorge as you walk about an hour and a half through the mountains! You will have a chance to eat lunch along the way. There are some long dark tunnels bur your guide will light the way!
Arrive at Takedao Station and Onsen. Relax in either an actual onsen or use one of the footbaths in the town. Congrats on finishing the hike!
Arrive at Ikeda and walk up to the amazing view! It is a bit of a hill so this is the last spat before the end! On the way back to the station we will stop by the castle and garden.
