1Cu Chi Tunnels
Discover the fascinating Cu Chi Tunnels — a vast underground maze once used by Vietnamese soldiers for shelter, living, and strategic operations. Crawl through narrow tunnels designed for a single person while your expert guide shares captivating stories about the tunnels, the ingenious Hoang Cam Stove, secret trapdoors, and how the thick earth protected against bombs and tanks. 08:00: Pick up at your hotel and depart to Cu Chi will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. 09.30: Upon arrival, get a brief introduction and watch an informative video on tunnel construction and wartime survival strategies. Discover the tunnels, with living areas, kitchens, bedrooms, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers – showcasing comprehensive underground facilities. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. Return to Saigon. 15:00: End trip.
