Your professional guide will pick you up at your hotel to begin a scenic journey from Barcelona to the Pyrenees. Along the way, you will pass through the Montseny Natural Park, a vast biosphere reserve, and the historic city of Vic, known for its Roman origins and medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture. The route continues through Ripoll, home to a monastery founded in 879 and considered the birthplace of Catalonia.
You will then reach Queralbs, a picturesque stone village at 1,236 meters above sea level, with just over 100 residents. Here, you can admire Romanesque churches dating back to the 10th and 12th centuries. Then you will board the cogwheel train for a spectacular 12.5 km ascent to the Sanctuary of Núria, located at 2,000 meters and surrounded by peaks nearing 3,000 meters.
At Núria, enjoy free time to relax, take scenic walks, and ride the Coma del Clot cable car. In the afternoon, return by rack railway to Queralbs and head back to Barcelona by private vehicle.

Please, make sure to specify the exact address of your accommodation when booking. After the pick-up is completed, you will head to the first destination of your tour. On the road, your guide will be explaining important and curious things that you will see in the scenery. You will certainly enjoy the beautiful landscape while heading to your first stop.

1Queralbs
Queralbs is a small mountain village in the Catalonia region of northeastern Spain, located in the Pyrenees at about 1,200 meters above sea level. Queralbs is also the main access point to the Vall de Núria, a popular destination for hiking, skiing, and outdoor activities. 2Queralbs - Cremallera de Núria
The Núria Rack Railway (Cremallera de Núria) is a mountain train that connects the town of Ribes de Freser — with a stop in Queralbs — to the Sanctuary and Valley of Núria in the Catalan Pyrenees. It is the only public access to the valley, as there is no road leading there. The route is about 12.5 kilometers long and climbs more than 1,000 meters in elevation, offering spectacular views of mountains, forests, and waterfalls. It operates using a rack-and-pinion system, which allows the train to safely travel up steep slopes. More than just transportation, the Núria Rack Railway is a scenic experience and one of the most iconic railway journeys in Catalonia.

3Vall de Nuria
Vall de Núria is a beautiful mountain valley located in the Catalan Pyrenees, at nearly 2,000 meters above sea level. Surrounded by high peaks, it offers a peaceful natural setting with forests, lakes, and stunning alpine landscapes. The valley is home to the Sanctuary of Núria, an important spiritual and cultural site in Catalonia. It is a popular destination year-round: visitors come for hiking and outdoor activities in the summer, and for skiing and snow sports in the winter. Accessible only by the Núria Rack Railway or on foot, Vall de Núria is known for its unique combination of nature, tradition, and tranquility.

The Coma del Clot Gondola Lift is a modern cable car located in Vall de Núria, in the Catalan Pyrenees. It connects the sanctuary and lake area with the upper part of the ski resort, providing easy access to the slopes and mountain trails. In winter, it is an essential facility for skiers, allowing them to reach higher elevations comfortably and quickly. In summer, it offers a scenic ride with outstanding panoramic views of the valley, the surrounding peaks, and the alpine landscape. It is a fast and convenient way to enjoy some of the best views in Vall de Núria.
