Your day starts with a pickup from your hotel, followed by a scenic drive to Kakani. From Kakani, you begin a beautiful 3–4 hour (approx. 10 km) hike toward Surya Chaur. After completing the hike, you will be picked up from the ending point and dropped back at your hotel.

    Meet at your hotel's lobby and drive to Kakani for about an hour. The hike will start from Kakani Memorial Park and end at Suryachaur Hill. En-route you will hike along forested areas passing through Shivapuri National Park. Shivapuri National Park with 159 km2 (61 sq mi) is located in the mid-hills on the northern side of the Kathmandu Valley. Upon arriving at Suryachaur (1925m) is an ideal place with some flat terrains from where one can get to see the whole Thangshing Valley and the great mountain views like Ganesh Himal, Langtang Range, Mt. Machapuchare, Mt. Gaurishankar, Godatape, Rauchuli and other numerous Himalayas. Then drive back to Kathmandu and drop-off at your hotel.
