Arrive Paro & meet at the airport then transfer to Paro for lunch. Visit Paro Ringpung Dzong in Paro then drive to Thimphu. Proceed with sightseeing in Thimphu visiting King’s Memorial Chorten, Buddha’s point, Centenary farmer’s market, handicraft market etc.
Paro airport is the only international airport in Bhutan.
Paro Rinpung dzong is the center of attraction in Paro.
Thimphu is the capital of Bhutan.
After go to Thimphu sightseeing visiting several cultural and historical sites then drive to Punakha. En-route cross Dochula pass (3050m) which offers a good view of the eastern Himalayas. Getting closer to Punakha, take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang 'the fertility temple'. Soon Punakha is reached after driving for a while.
King's Memorial Chorten is one of the sightseeing attractions of Thimphu.
The weekend market is where the local farmers sell their rest and organic produces.
Handicraft market is closer to the weekend market where one can find many collectible items for gifts etc.
Dochula pass is en-route Thimphu to Punakha and commands spectacular Himalayan panorama of the eastern mountains in a clear day.
Chimi Lhakhang is the temple dedicated to Drukpa Kunley.
Punakha is the old capital of Bhutan.
After breakfast in the morning, drive to the hike-start-point and hike up to Kansum Chorten. Enjoy a good view of the Punakha Valley from the temple's top then hike down and drive to Punakha visiting Punakha Dzong.
Khamsum Yueley Namgyel Chorten erected by Royal queen mother for the purpose of present king in 2002 and requires an easy hike up to the temple.
Punakha Dzong is arguably one of the most beautiful monasteries in Bhutan.
Trace the same route back to Thimphu crossing over Dochula pass and one more time to observe the eastern mountains. Upon Thimphu arrival, check-in hotel.

Thimphu is also known as the city with no traffic lights.
Drive to Paro from Thimphu en-route visiting Haa Valley crossing over Chele la pass which offers a good view of the green valley and the Himalayas. Explore around Haa then drive to Paro
Chele la pass commands good Himalayan views and the valley below.
Haa Valley is closer to Paro town.
In the morning, drive to the base of Taktsang Monastery outskirts of Paro town then begin the hike up to the monastery. After two hour’s hike will reach the cafeteria from where a beautiful view of the monastery can be seen. Then further hike up to reach the monastery, explore around and head downwards to the road point. Drive to Paro en-route visit Kychi Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples of Bhutan.
Takstang monastery is the main highlight of any Bhutan tour. The monastery is perched in a vertical hillside defying all engineering logic where it's believed that Guru Padma Sambhava came on a back of a flying tigress from Tibet in the 8th century and meditated here, thus the name 'Tiger's Monastery'
Kyichu Lhakhang is the oldest temple in Bhutan.
After breakfast, drive to the Paro International Airport for your onward flight to your next destination & bidding farewell to the land of the thunder dragon.
Paro airport is a small airport at the beautiful Paro Valley.
