Viewpoints of Divcibare - Most important information

Their incredible viewpoints are the most beautiful and visited destinations that delight the fans of Divcibare every day. The Divcibare viewpoints offer a great view of the rest of Serbia; it is even possible to see the Serbian capital on the most apparent days. Some of the most visited and popular viewpoints in Divcibare are Kraljev sto, Crni vrh, Ljuti krs and Paljba.

Characteristics of viewpoints on Divcibare
The peaks of Maljen stretch primarily over 1000m, while the highest peak Kraljev sto, with its height of 1104m offers a view towards Mount Avala and the tower. The approach to the viewpoints is passable; to some, it is necessary to go through the forest to reach the endpoint.
  • Viewpoint Kraljev sto: Kraljev sto is 4 km from the central part of Divčibar. This highest peak of Maljen is surrounded by forest and meadows, and at the lookout point, there are benches where walkers can rest after a long walk. Legend has it that this viewpoint was named after King Dusan, who stayed here during a battle at the foot of the hill. The view from the King's Table reaches Kopaonik, and you can also see Belgrade, Medvednik, Jablanik, Povlen, Tara and Zlatibor.
  • Viewpoint Crni vrh: Because of its highly welcoming layout, Crni Vrh lookout point is undoubtedly the most visited in this area. Although the path to the viewpoint is somewhat more demanding, at the top, hikers will be greeted by an observation deck and a swing that offers a great view of the surrounding area. The ski trail starts from the lookout point, Crni vrh, and can be reached by cable car. The fact that you can see the Tornik ski center on Zlatibor from Crni vrh also shows how far the view goes on clear days.
  • Viewpoint Ljuti krs: Ljuti krs is tucked away among the steep slopes of Divcibare, and it can be an excellent end point for all those who want a slightly longer and more challenging walk through the forest. The view from the observation deck goes to the Crna Reka and the surrounding hills and mountains, and the ambiance gives the feeling that you are deep in the wilderness. Due to the untouched nature that reigns here, the Ljuti krs viewpoint is a favorite destination in Divcibare for many.
  • Viewpoint Paljba: Paljba Viewpoint is located near the regional road Valjevo-Kosjeric, about 3km from the center of Divcibare. Since this is one of the most accessible viewpoints, it can be reached by car. From the Paljba viewpoint, you can see the surrounding hills of Maljen, and you can also see the entire town of Kosjeric.
How to get to the viewpoints on Divcibare
Although some viewpoints can be reached by car with little effort and driving, some are located at the very end of the forest and require a longer or shorter hike through the woods or meadow.
  • Viewpoint Kraljev sto: This viewpoint is located 4 km from the central part of Divcibare, so it will take you about 10 minutes to drive, or about an hour's walk. It is located at the beginning of Divcibare, near the road to Mionica and Valjevo.
  • Viewpoint Crni vrh: You can reach this lookout by cable car or on foot. Moving from the center of Divcibare, you will need about half an hour of easy walking through the forest. Since the viewpoint is located at the top of the trail, blocking the road and following it is possible, although the path here is much more complex and demanding.
  • Viewpoint Ljuti krs: The Ljuti krs lookout point can be reached on foot through a dense forest. You need to get to Camp Breza and follow the sign to the viewpoint. The road will lead through the Crna Reka nature reserve, and the walk will take less than half an hour.
  • Viewpoint Paljba: Since the Paljba Viewpoint can also be reached by car, it is necessary to follow the road towards Kosjeric from the center of Divcibare. Once you pass the turn leading to Pozega, it will take another 2 minutes to drive to the viewpoint on the left.
