Everything was good except the staff-in-charge's attitude. It would be good if there was a briefing or a meet and greet but I didn't have one when I arrived at 7pm (actually earlier than the scheduled time of 7:30). For that staff, 10 days before check-in, she gave me a call for cleaning fee and said would email a receipt back. However,once she got the cleaning fee (with very quick whatsapp response to all the questions), she gave a feeling of "I don't care" thereafter. The preparation for customers was quite absent-minded. e.g. 2 toothbrushes, 1 small tube of shampoo for 4 persons for 3 nights but 4 tubes of conditioner. I could not contact her and so approached the concierge who was a nice guy. That female staff called back and asked me not to approach the concierge(I didn't want to if I could find her!) When asked about the preparation, she replied that they were not supposed to provide toothbrushes and no refills. However, she said she would follow up the matter which she didn't finally. Up till now, she has not yet emailed me the receipt despite reminded. I feel sorry for a good clean stylish apartment but poor staff attitude which has to some extent ruined the holiday.
The windows looked out into the alley and the mechanical equipment was on the roof right outside our unit... very big equipment. We thought our unit was overlooking quaint Newbury street
Great location and nice facility but the apparent building rule of only issuing a single key to a unit made coming and going for two people an unnecessary challenge. This arbitrary building rule necessitates coordination of arrivals and departures to and from the unit and/or relying on the presence and cooperation of the building concierge which was hit or miss in my experience. For this reason I would hesitate to be a repeat customer unless traveling alone.
it was perfect location and very clean, very good apt. didnt like the pillows. the only problem was that they just gave us one pair of keys and didnt want to give us another one.
