Spacious rooms with decent ammenitis in a good location. Didn’t like that cleaning was every 3 days
Pros:

Spacious room, small gym and a free bar with soft drinks downstairs with filtered water. Happy with the location and easy to walk to most places. Laundry machines and dryer were useful

Cons:

Cleaning only provided every 3 days and I only stayed for 3 days so the room did get dusty and wasn’t cleaned during my stay

Nice, spacious and clean rooms.
Pros:

I didn’t like just misleading through reservation process. There are 5 stars after name of the hotel on booking listing, but this is 3 star hotel. The staff were very helpful and it was very clean. Location is central few km away from Temple of Heaven and forbidden city.

Cons:

The entrance and reception desk.

Nice communal space in lobby. Off the main road, in a residential area, within 5 minutes walk of shopping areas and train station.
Free laundry machines and drinks. Good gym downstairs. Good showers. Fridge and sink in the room are useful if you buy your own food.
You can walk to the Forbidden City.
Go left out of hotel towards Dongsi S Street... If you go left at Dongsi S Street there are cafés and shops etc. Immediately right at Dongsi S Street there's the train station and restaurants.

Cons:

We were offered a room that smelled of smoke, be careful to specify the nonsmoker room on booking.
Breakfast options are limited, a small cafe in the building on the ground floor, and a limited selection of food. Need to walk around further for breakfast.
Double/king beds, slightly small for 2 adults.

Empfehlenswerte zentral gelegene und ruhige Unterkunft, in der man sich wohlfühlt.
Pros:

Das Hotel-"Wohnzimmer" ist ein sehr gemütlicher Ort. Es gibt Softdrinks und Kaffee sowie Tee, allerdings leider keine Milch zum Kaffee / Tee. Die Lage ist erstaunlich ruhig in einer Nebenstraße aber sehr zentral und direkt bei einer Metrostation. Es gibt viele Restaurants und Läden in der unmittelbaren Umgebung, ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer war super!

Cons:

Es gab wider Erwarten kein Frühstück, auch nicht als Option, obwohl das hier im Portal so angegeben war. Wir haben aber immer um die Ecke in einem Imbiss gefrühstückt, wobei das nach einer Woche etwas eintönig bezüglich der Auswahl wurde. Gut wäre es, Milch oder Kaffeesahne im "Wohnzimmer" beim Kaffeeangebot auch mit anzubieten.

Pros:

We stayed 4 nights at Stey Beijing Wangfujing Hotel and had a really great experience overall. The location is amazing—close to everything and made it so easy to get around and explore Beijing.

The room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay. The only downsides were that the walls were a bit marked and the pillows weren’t the most comfortable, but neither issue had a major impact on our stay.

The standout was definitely the staff—they were incredible from start to finish. They were especially helpful in allowing us to have packages delivered to the hotel before we arrived, which made things so much easier for us.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it for a convenient and comfortable base in Beijing.

The photos are very misleading and do not reflect the actual condition. Hostel standard marketed as a hotel.

1. The room felt more like a poorly maintained hostel than a hotel. Everything was old and not well maintained. Furnishings were rusty, including the shower head. The shower head and door handle even broke in the other suite that my family was staying in. There was also a bad drainage smell from the toilet.

2. The property is located in an alley and gets very dark at night — solo female travellers should be wary.

3. Staff were not as friendly as reviews suggest. I overheard two staff complaining about guests in another room just for requesting an extra blanket, which was quite off-putting.

4. There is laundry available, but you still have to pay for the pods, which feels misleading.

I don’t understand how this place has such high ratings. At best, it’s a 3/10. Seems like people overlook the condition because it’s cheap and offers free drinks.
