The property had a beautiful garden with exotic flowers. The apartment was beautiful and bed was comfy. The living room was spacious and it had a small kitchenette too. Unfortunately no iron but on request one was provided. Staff were very friendly especially Shirah.
The shower was not working and breakfast was not to my liking. At night the surrounding bar was very noisy which made it difficult to sleep. Nothing could have been done to resolve the noise issues. The property was a little bit hidden away from the main road on a muddy road.
The staff were very friendly and very helpful. There was an error with the booked room and the reception staff quickly addressed this and were very professional. Additional towels were supplied on request and in general the staff were very attentive to address enquiries. The biggest asset here are the reception staff.
The location is easy to find and the setting is very pleasant.
The restaurant food was very nice (although see below for further detail on the restaurant experience). The breakfast was good, very organised and a good selection of food and drink.
Considering the cost of the room, which is at the higher end of available accommodation in Tororo, the room was not great.
On arrival the kitchen sink tap was not working, but in the morning it was? There were various places around the suite where holes had been made through walls to run services (electricity, water, etc) but had not been repaired. The kitchen was equipped with a single cup, a single glass, and a few utensils. There was no kettle in the room and although the staff were very prompt in supplying one when requested, the kettle supplied did not work. Staff also supplied additional cups/mugs on request.
The air conditioning in the master (double) bedroom, while appearing to be functional, did little to cool the room. Some of the walls in the main room appeared to have a damp issue, with paint lifting and bubbling.
In the bathroom the shower did not have a bracket on which to place the head, therefore it was necessary to hold the shower during use. It appeared that there had previously been a bracket that had broken and not been replaced. The tap on the bathroom sink was not well fix to the sink and the whole tap assembly turned as you tried to turn the tap on/off.
The restaurant serves food until 11pm. We ordered an evening meal at around 8.30pm (we ordered local food to cut potential waiting time). Our meals were finally served around 10.15pm, a wait of almost 2 hours for food is excessive. The food itself was very nice.
Early in the morning, around 6am, there was a lot of noise directly outside the kitchen window (one of our party was sleeping in the main room on the sofa bed). The noise appeared to be emptying of water down drains, so I can only assume that a drain was located below the window and was being used during cleaning?
Breakfast was fair
The water in the taps was brown!
The location for our stay was good also they arranged a trip to Sipi falls for us with we both enjoyed.

The facilities were spacious and comfortable which is unique in this part of the world. Staff was very friendly and even went to great lengths to take care of us during a storm caused power outage. Meals were outstanding. Beautiful facility next to the mountain.
