Beijing Guangyao Service Apartment Chaoyangmen

The location is very good, close to subway and shopping center, restaurants. The room is clean and spacious.

Very helpful staff, they tried to help us as much as they can. Very patient and respectful.
The apartment is close to metro station Chaoyangmen which is convenient for transport around the city by metro.there are quite many shops and groceries around with some good restaurants for dining.
The apartment itself is spacious enough but the cleanliness to be improved. Also the sign of aging is visible with many areas needs for renovation.
The smell of smoking was very evident in the morning and late in the afternoon, but it was not the fault of facility, some guests were smoking during the stay with no respect to others. It was funny that time to time we saw some people sleeping in lobby area.

The staff at the lobby were most unhelpful. They won't answer questions and to open the door to get to the elevator they need to buzz you in- however there are times no one is there to let you in or they are looking at their phones and don't notice you

Great Central location ideal for shops and Restaurants. OPt for a higher flor if possible. Some of the basic accomadation on the lower floors looks as through they need a little TLC but the upper flooors are great and above the Street noise level, Staff are helpful and our apartment on 22nd frooor had everything we needed and was clean and very comfotable with a high level of finish

The room, service, location are good enough. However, there is no non-smoking requirement, and on my floor there were people smoking from time to time especially late at night, leaving others nowhere to escape… Not very kid friendly.

Great service apartment, very well maintained, 25 plus floors, great facilities inside including wifi (with chinese restrictions for some websites)

Overall very good and comfortable if you are staying with a family

Reception staff could not speak english but tried hard using google translate (this app is a must if you want to visit beijing anyway)

It is not very clean with American’s standards

Very convenient. Restaurants n supermarket right around the corner. Mall just like 2 or 3 blocks away. Rooms are spacious.

It was leaking when raining

Everything is fine if the service apartment doesn’t claim a two room with a couch (bed) apartment as 3 bedrooms, I didn’t quite trust the description on the website, so I went to the hotel and saw it myself, it is not in anybody’s wild imagination a 3 bedroom apartment, it’s 2 bedroom apartment.

the overall experience is a good one, except the description of 3 bedrooms is rather ridiculous, and less forthcoming, because of my prior experience with Chinese description of anything, I wanted to exam the place as so called “3 bedrooms”. As I expected, it’s not a 3 bedrooms in anybody’s imagination, it’s barely 2 bedrooms with a pass way and a couch, even the second bedroom is barely considered a bedroom, it doesn’t have a bathroom within the room. Well, anyway, it’s fine for a 2 bedroom suite. It’s a spacious place though. Of course, the sewage is stinky for most of the Chinese facilities anyway.

Stayed in 2 bedroom. One of the restroom had a bad smell. The toilet paper was almost out when we arrived. No kitchenware at all, you would have to request those items. They have to physically take your passport for police registration which is not good for tourists who are required to have their passports with them at all times. The area is convenient though not too far from subway and a walmart down the street. An ok place to stay.

I like everything there

This is the absolute place to stay if you are in Beijing especially when travelling in a family or group. Apartments come fully furnished with all creature comforts and utilities and tastefully decored giving that 5 star residence feeling.Location is superb with the subway barely 5 minutes by foot nd eateries galore merely a stones throw away. Guangyao service apartment is not to be missed when staying in Beijing.

It would have been expected to have the place cleaned, table wiped, beds made etc. when housekeeping us requested for. Only the trash was cleared instead. Also, there were no plates, bowls, spoons, forks, knives etc. in the kitchen. Unfortunately, when it rained heavily in the evening, the ceiling in the master leaked badly the next morning. We're offered a replacement apartment though but we didn't take up the offer as we're checking out that night. Other than the above, the rooms, beds, toilets are nice and comfy.

Well located, wonderful staff, sparkling new rooms. We stayed in a two and a three bedroom place. They were both fantastic.

Great location near shopping and subway. Very clean. Great value for 3-bedroom apartment. Did not have cooking/eating items but I believe I could have requested these items if needed. Biggest downside was that we checked in on a Sunday and did not get passports back from required check-in at the police station until Monday afternoon. This prevented us from going to Tienamen Square as planned on Monday because you need a passport for entry.

We had a very nice three bedroom apartment. We liked it a lot.

The property is in a very good location with public transportation and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is spacious and has almost everything we need for a few days' stay. The only concern is that the common area needs some remodeling.
