Parkside Inn Anaheim

I wish it was more cleaner. The floor was super dirty, and the mattress looked anything but clean! It looked like it was picked up after but not cleaned at all felt really uncomfortable and unclean.

The room only had one small shampoo bottle and one small body wash even thought I had booked for four people in the three rooms that I reserved. The bed sheets were not soft at all and one of my kids got an allergic reaction to them. The furniture in the rooms were either broken or very worn down. It’s very close to Disneyland and it’s convenient but it needs work on the comfort part.

There was a black widow on my bed so we had to leave

We booked the “accessible” room and were given a shower head that was mounted at waist level, which is fine for wheelchair users, but my disability doesn’t require a wheelchair, so I had to hold the shower head above my head the entire duration of my shower. Also, there is no division between the shower and the bathroom floor so as I showered the entire bathroom became flooded. There is only one drain which is in the shower area, so the floor remained sopping wet until it dried the next day. They failed to provide us towels and when we went to ask, he would only gave us two. there were no floor mats or smaller towels provided to step onto after the shower so it was extremely unsafe and also disgusting. Within a few hours of checking in I tried chatting with customer service as we felt unsafe, so they called the hotel to come up with a solution but “Charlie” refused to help. he said it was our fault for booking the “accessible”’room and that their policy does not allow for refunds. Best he could do is offer us a room change the next day but we’d have to pay for it on top of what we’d already paid. I was extremely frustrated with Expedia customer service as well for not being able to help us out once Charlie said no. They said they have to abide by the hotel’s policy. My review is DO NOT stay at Parkside inn and don’t expect customer service to be able to help you if you’re in an unsafe situation.

This place has potential --- but work MUST be put in!
This property COULD have been one of the best I have ever stayed in except for these TWO (2) major problems!
First, this is California during the summer --- you MUST, MUST, MUST have a working ICE MACHINE!
Not having one, is just PATHETIC! Get that fixed NOW!
Secondly, one of the things about rooms having a rugged floor is that it hides dirt and dust much easier.

Bathroom had hairs all the over the floor and as soon as you opened the door there was an overwhelming smell of smoke. We couldnt stay and checked out 5 min later!

The reviews I seen had me nervous about our stay. My husband booked it since it was cheap and didn't look at the reviews. After checking in I looked at the reviews and was stunned but I figured I would let the experience judge for me. I had the back room, room 123 and upon entering it was nice, clean and seems remodeled. I checked the beds as I had my kids with me and other reviews stated bugs and I didn't see one. Nor did I see any signs that there was any which was a huge relief but I still stayed on alert. the bathroom fixtures could be updated as they seemed well used. The lamp table had water damage on top that the paint was peeling off. In the morning we all woke just fine and still no signs of bugs. The mattress wasn't the most comfortable, my husband said it was really firm. One thing I noticed was the mattress cover needed to be washed better as the sides had some staining. Otherwise it was an okay experience and No complaints on my end.

This hotel is very clean overall great value for the money. Shower was absolutely amazing. My only complaint is the beds are very cheap and not comfortable. I travel to Anaheim all the time and would stay here quite frequently if they had better mattresses.

Parkside Inn is a very pleasant place to stay.

Property is renovated and modern. Basic amenity but functional. Fridge and microwave. Front desk lady is nice. Good value for the price.

I had an AD room as requested. When I went in the bathroom floor was wet which I thought odd since it was 10pm. When I went to get a shower the entire flood flooded immediately. The drain was super slow so I had to use all but 1 towel to put on the floor. I was only there 10 hours. I was so happy to leave.

Place is really clean

The stay was ok but shower hella overflowed and wasn’t draining normally. The phone was not working and broken to call the front. And ac wasn’t working so well. Overall it was an ok stay
