Kæmpestort ros til personalet,der hjalp os meget,da jeg er dårligt gående. De gav en service så fantastisk,at vores ferie blev så vellykket som man kunne tænke sig. 1000 tak til alle for deres indsats for os. Ses igen ♥️🌺🌹🇩🇰🌹🇬🇷🌹❤️🌺♥️🥳❤️TAK 💃🥰

1. Staff pleasant and helpful
2. Restaurant, bar & reception was modern & clean.
3. 2 minute to beach and close to restaurants, bars, cafes & shops.
4. Beds were comfortable & clean.

1. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
2. Room was booked as a standard double room but it was a twin room.
3. Room was very dated and needs some updating.
4. No storage for toiletries etc in the bathroom.
5. Going down to the toilets in the bar area was dangerous as the last step was broken and covered with a towel/blanket. Also the floor was continuously covered with water.
6. Be aware when checking out of the room as they remove your all inclusive band so you have to pay for food and drinks. We was not getting picked up until 9pm.
7. Nowhere to get changed in the hotel after you had checked out of the room.
8. No umbrellas for the sun beds out by the pool.
9. Our balcony overlooked a derelict building and not a city view as the booking suggested.

Das herzliche Personal ist äusserst zuvorkommend, hilfsbereits und kompeten. Sowohl das Frühstücks- als auch das Abendbuffett war ausreichend sortiert. Die Zimmerausstattung entspricht dem Preisniveau.

De kamer groot genoeg, voor Griekse bedden, redelijk, niet keihard. Kleine badkamer en daardoor kleine douche ruimte. Water loopt heel de badkamer door met douchen.
Hadden all inclusive, ontbijt goed, lunch matig, diner niet gedaan. Drinken niet lekker ( postmix). Zullen zeker nog een keer boeken, maar dan alleen met ontbijt.
Op de kamer staat een koelkast, perfect

This is an excellent 3* hotel with a very relaxed atmosphere.
The bedding towels changed everyday. The rooms are perfect ,clean and Greek. The food was very good and something for everyone. The location couldn't be any better, 1 min marina beach and excellent walks around the peninsula from Marina to the port and lake this way is a flat surface to walk it.
The hotel staff are one big family and brilliant, the room staff really work hard to keep everyone happy, restaurant staff very attentive and quick tockear and clean, 24 hkur reception very experienced, I even experienced Greek dancing with the manager. Perfect spot. Love to Maria, Shophie and Demetris. Xx

As previous reviews have stated, there are many more positives than negatives with this hotel.
First the negatives, the single room I was in was clean, but in need of a general update; there was also a safety issue where the gap between the end of the bed and the wall where the TV was fixed, was so narrow that you had to crane your neck to avoid a collision.
Onto the positives. The hotel is a city hotel, and shouldn’t be compared with large all inclusive hotels. The facilities are fine, it’s well organised, and pleasantly compact, and very close to a beach and the town centre. The town is quite hilly in parts, but lovely, and a pleasure to walk round and explore.
The food, though repetitive at times, was better than I’ve experienced in four and five star all inclusives in other countries. A lot of it is home made.
Again, as per previous reviews, the staff are the real asset; they’re all incredibly pleasant and polite, and helpful should you need it. They will also happily share knowledge of the area, places to go etc.

Pool was dirty with old sun tan oil - very orange and greasy above water line, plus black mould on the grout lines - yuk! Complained to pool manager, who shrugged his shoulders, said it was cleaned at 7am! Pointed this out to night manager who promptly passed to hotel manager. Pool partially cleaned next morning but mould still on grout of pool tiles. Hence we never used the pool! Otherwise lovely hotel, brilliant bar and hotel reception staff.

Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal im Apollon Hotel, nachdem wir im letzten Jahr eher zufällig Last Minute dort gelandet waren. Uns hat es letztes Jahr so gut gefallen dass wir unbedingt wiederkommen wollten. Das Hotel ist super zentral gelegen in Agio Nikolaos und es sind nur wenige Meter zum schönen Stadtstrand. Außerdem hat man mehrere Supermärkte, Bäcker, Cafes und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Hotel ist natürlich kein 5 Sterne Hotel und auch schon etwas älter,, aber für das was man bezahlt bekommt man wirklich viel !!! Das Zimmer ist sauber, renoviert und zweckmäßig eingerichtet mit einem Kühlschrank, Klimaanlage und bequemen Betten. Auch der Balkon mit Blick auf den Vorplatz des Hotels ist sehr schön und lädt zum entspannen ein. Tagsüber ist es natürlich aufgrund der Lage in der Innenstadt nicht ganz ruhig, was aber ja auch der Vorteil des Hotels ist da man sehr schnell überallhin kommt. Und abends zum Schlafen hatten wir keinerlei Probleme und konnten gut schlafen. Das Essen war sehr gut und wir hatten auch das Gefühl dass es sich gegenüber dem letzten Jahr noch verbessert hatte. Es sollte wirklich beim Buffet für jeden was dabei sein. Salate, Fisch, diverse Varianten an Fleisch, Nudeln, Reis, Obst, Suppe etc,. und auch tolle Nachspeisen. Wir haben uns erneut super wohl gefühlt. Was wirklich herausragend ist: die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des Hotelpersonals. Man fühlt sich wirklich als ob man Teil der Familie ist, und wirklich alle Mitarbeiter sind nicht nur aufgesetzt freundlich, sondern wirklich immer auch für ein nettes Gespräch und einen Spaß zu haben. Wir haben uns erneut super wohl gefühlt und wir können uns nur wieder sehr bedanken für die Gastfreundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit von wirklich ALLEN Angestellten im Hotel. Habe wirklich selten so ein tolles Hotelpersonal erlebt, das sich so um das Wohlergehen der Gäste bemüht, und wirklich alles macht damit man eine tolle Zeit dort erlebt. Wir kommen wieder :-)

Receptionist went well beyond what was required of her to correct a booking error. If the hotel manager reads this, the lady in question, I did not get her name, deserves promotion.
Hotel facilities are at least the standard of a good 4 star hotel

Here's my honest review. The location is fantastic. A couple of lovely beaches in walking distance and in easy walking distance to countless bars,restauranrs and shops. Agios Nikolaos is a very laid back and chilled resort and the hotel has the same feel.
The staff are fantastic, very friendly people and very accommodating. Special shout goes to Maria and Demetris who look after the bar, and Eleni at the front reception. Somes names I didn't get but the General Manager and the gentleman that looks after the dinner service were also top drawer people.
The food was basic but always well cooked and tasty. The hotel was always clean.
All in all it's a basic hotel but honestly extremely good value for money. I would definitely stay here again.
