COCKROACHES COCKROACHES COCKROACHES!!! STAY AWAYYY!!!! And they wont refund you. Scammers!
Pros:

The location is good, and there is nearby free parking in the streets.
If you find another hotel nearby, then go for it, but don't book this hotel. Its aweful!!!

Not just one. Three COCKROACHES in two days!!

This is the worst and FILTHIEST hotel we've ever been in. DISGUSTING!
Please read this review to the end, before booking here, and your vacation will be spared.

The hotel is outdated. Only the lobby was renovated; the rooms are in very bad shape. The elevator is not safe and the building is very old and feels like you're in jail.

Regarding the room:
- The bathroom is tiny, and there’s no proper shower enclosure, only a cheap curtain, and water leaks all over the bathroom floor every time you shower.
- The Air conditioner barely worked, we asked to fix it, but they didn't.
- There were fleas in the bed. My legs were so badly bitten and itchy that after just two nights, I had scratches that were bleeding.
- The drain opening was left uncovered. We asked them to cover it so that no one would fall into it, but they never did.

And the worst part - COCKROACHES!!!
We found one on the second morning in the shower. We immediately told them, and they said they will spray our room.
Then, in the afternoon - again! ANOTHER COCKROACH! A different one; it was huge (photo attached).
We told them again, they suggested moving us to another room, and we did.
The other room had no balcony, but OK, we hoped at least it had no bugs, but then again, in the new room, another huge cockroach...

And the worst part? THEY REFUSED TO REFUND US.
We paid for 7 nights, but we left after 2 nights. They refused to refund us for the remaining 5 nights. They were not even fully booked! They just wanted to scam us.

3-star hotel?
I have been in Hostels in Colombia in better shape.

If you read all this and decided to book, then remember this review when you arrive.
If you already booked, try and cancel it ASAP.

Posizione centrale, pulizia delle camere, colazione variegata, personale gentile e accogliente

Cons:

Parcheggio molto scarso nelle vicinanze, porte che sbattevano, doccia con tendina in bagno piccolo, altri ospiti della struttura che facevano rumori molesti con musica durante la notte

Ubicación correcta y desayuno variado.

Ottimo soggiorno
Pros:

Abbiamo soggiornato all’Apollon Hotel di Agios Nikolaos, a Creta, e nel complesso siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. I punti di forza principali sono sicuramente la posizione, a due passi dal mare e dal centro, e il prezzo: noi abbiamo pagato 450 € per 5 giorni con colazione e cena incluse, un rapporto qualità-prezzo davvero eccellente.

La colazione era buona e abbondante, così come la cena. Un altro grande punto di forza è il personale: tutti sono stati estremamente gentili e disponibili. Alla reception ci hanno dato ottimi consigli su dove mangiare spendendo meno, quali spiagge visitare e come organizzare al meglio il soggiorno. Si vede che tengono davvero ai propri ospiti.

Nel complesso mi sento di dare 5 stelle. Certo, la struttura avrebbe bisogno di qualche rinnovamento, ma per quello che abbiamo speso è difficile chiedere di più. I piccoli difetti vengono ampiamente compensati dall’ottima posizione, dalla cortesia del personale e dall’eccellente rapporto qualità-prezzo. Lo consiglio a chi cerca una sistemazione semplice, pulita e in una posizione perfetta per visitare Agios Nikolaos.

Cons:

La struttura è un po’ datata e la nostra camera era piuttosto piccola. Anche il bagno era molto stretto e gli spazi, in generale, erano ridotti. Sono aspetti che si notano, ma considerando il prezzo pagato risultano assolutamente accettabili.

Pros:

Currently here and enjoying every minute. The hotel is fairly basic but clean, organised and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic, hot food buffet, cereals, toast etc plus coffee/chocolate/juice. Evening meal also a buffet and something for everyone. The soup is homemade and fantastic, well stocked salad bar with a huge variety of. Ice cream, fruit and cheese. Would be better with a selection of cakes but I like ice cream anyway. I’d definitely stay here again 100%.
