Good staff but place was just okay
Pros:

You get what you pay for. Location is in an alleyway which was what we weren’t expecting but staff are very friendly, looks like a family owned business. It was hard to communicate as not everyone spoke English. Rooftop has a great view of the pyramids which is what brought is to book the place but it was full of animal poop outside and a lot of flies at the rooftop that definitely bothered us while having breakfast. The hotel offers tours if you haven’t booked any, it was convenient for us as we were able to go to the pyramids with a camel and private tour guide as soon as we got there. Staff and owner were nice to allow us to check in very early (8am). Our private tour guide Mahmoud was knowledgeable and honest. He took care of us. The downside was that all the tours offered through the owner/hotel were very expensive and we had to bargain. Prices upfront seemed unreasonable to us. Also we were taken to a papyrus/perfume shop which seemed to be affiliated with the hotel. Shop owner was very pushy to buy a painting from him which we did to our regret. But otherwise hotel was okay.

Good option
Pros:

It was great being so close to the pyramids. There are some internet towers in between you and the pyramids so not a clear view for picky photographers, but for the normal viewer it was great. We enjoyed watching the camels stroll in and out each day. The owners smoke downstairs so you do have to walk through a smokey entrance every time you arrive/leave but luckily our room smelled fine. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable for all. Wifi on the 3rd floor is sketchy, at best. None on the rooftop. So don't heavily rely on the wifi. Food was good. I did have to ask for a few necessary things that I would think would already be in the room, and had to ask for each thing 2 or 3 times...every time. The owners are friendly and the young men who helped us most were very sweet. There are chickens across the way and you can hear the mosque + horns honking (Welcome to Cairo) so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. I felt safe staying with them but would not recommend walking around the nearby area unless you are really used to Cairo and know what to expect. We enjoyed the Sound and Light show from the balcony and a large tasty breakfast. All in all we had a nice stay.

No WiFi
Pros:

Traveling around the world and this hotel had no wifi! And as soon as you get there this clown wants to give you a high pressure on booking a tour tells me 110.00 American each end up being 250 for both the tour was worth it but having to deal with a high pressure sales pitch as soon as you walk in the door sucks! Did I say no wifi? But the young lady at desk let me use her hot spot on her phone and the other staff was great. Just after traveling you don't want to deal with a used car salesman! But I do suggest to stay was a great location and clean.

Pros:

Due to technical issues, a room wasn’t available when I arrived. The staff arranged nearby accommodation and I still used the rooftop bar for meals and evening drinks overlooking the pyramids. I also partook in a pyramid tour on camel back arranged by staff. Was a great experience and guides ensured we had some great photos to remember the trip.
PS - I did inspect one of the rooms in the hotel to be able to give an honest review here.

Good hosts, great location & safe for solo travel
Pros:

The hotel owner/s staff were very hospitable and made me feel very much at home. I felt safe. They arranged my travels and tours from Giza. Samar at the reception was a friendly and refreshing soul and made my stay comfortable. The women and gentleman serving breakfast were extremely polite and accommodating. Being alone this was a good choice of place to stay. I appreciated the owner's hospitality. My only comment would be to let the customer decide on the Giza pyramid tour and not be pushed into it.

Enjoyed helpful staff of Pyramids Village Inn
Pros:

As agreed, hotel sent driver to pick us up free at the airport upon arrival in a comfortable car. Check in was easy, but FYI, there is no elevator, so be prepared to walk up a few flights of stairs. Room was spartan but you get what you paid for. Breakfasts were served on roof terrace and the morning view of Giza Pyramids were spectacular. Hotel did a good job arranging tours and we really enjoyed the camel ride to and from Giza pyramids. 2nd tour took us to Red Pyramid, Bent Pyramid, Memphis, Remesses II museum, Step Pyramids etc. On the 2nd day, a good interpreter came by to take us to view the best National Museum in Egypt with galore of arts, crafts and of course, mummies and King Tut's treasures. Camel rides are real fun and available just from the front of parking lot! Owner Adam is a great help and very helpful should you need his help to figure out his treasures, he is there to help! You can see the light show from 7- 10 pm. All fro free!

The greatest place and people I have ever met.
Pros:

My stay at The Pyramid Village Inn was one of the best experiences of my life. And it was all due to the owners and the staff. Their location to the Pyramids is the best in all of Egypt. Anything you possibly could want they will range for, from transportation, tours, and food, anything you could possibly think of they will do to make it happen. I am already planning my return trip and it's all because of the people at the PVI. When I arrived I was a guest when I left I was family.
Thank you to all my NEW brothers and Sisters at the PVI.

Great experience
Pros:

The service provided was wonderful in all aspects from the friendliness of the staff to the quality and cleanliness of rooms given. The staff were able to assist us for all sorts of matters including local transports and the best places to visit in Cairo. The view of the Giza Pyramids from the rooftop is magnificent. We would recommend this hotel for those who are traveling to see the pyramids

Pros:

This is a great and a very quaint property. Outstanding view of the pyramids from the rooftop restaurant. Nothing beats having breakfast or dinner while gazing at the pyramids. Though not a luxury property, it is a great place to stay from which to explore Giza and the great pyramids. The room was comfortable, clean, and safe. I’d recommend it to all my friends and family. You will feel like you’ve been adopted by an Egyptian family and you will feel more like you’ve found a second home than a hotel, as they provide a more personal rather than a highly formalized service. They offered room service and arranged outstanding customized private tours by very knowledgeable guides. Mahmoud was a great tour guide for the pyramids camel ride as well as arranging day trips to Saqqara, Dahshur, Memphis, Egyptian Museum, the Citadel and a great night cruise on the Nile with a folkloric show of traditional Egyptian dances. When I come back to Egypt I plan to once again stay there.

Pros:

My wife and I both stayed at this Hotel for one week, and all the positive reviews I read about it are true. The staff was very friendly and treated me and my wife as family and always offered us a nice cup of tea when we arrived back from a tour. They also helped us set up tours around the Great Pyramids, Cairo, and Luxor when we were there. The guides they set us up with were amazing and knowledgeable. The View of the pyramids was beautiful at night where you can hear the sound and light show, and their breakfeast was really tasty!

If you don't mind being near the stables (I would bring some earplugs tho) this hotel is a definite goto for the View and the friendly staff. When we go back to egypt we will be booking with them again.

Pros:

maybe double glazing or sound proofing would be a good idea, since we woke up very early, from the neighboring noise, horses and roosters, as well as children playing under the window.

Clean, spacious and comfy.
Pros:

Really nice and new hotel, excellent for the price, rooms a comfy and spacious, air conditioning worked great, the girl at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is steps to the entrance to the pyramids. Its a bit hidden bus ask the locals and they will point you in the right direction. It has a terrace with a great view of the pyramids.
