This was our first trip to Grenada, but it will not be our last! Silversands is a 10+++! From Laurent, the manager, on down the staff is amazing! From the service they provide, it seems they’re all invested in a peerless guest experience. First, in addition to being beautiful, it is immaculate. I’m the freak that looks in corners–not a dust ball not a stray hair anywhere. The property manages simultaneously to feel expansive and intimate. I could go and on, but you should just go!
I LOVE ALISON AND NICHOLSON!!! They made the stay so fun and nice. The villa was BEAAAAUUUUUUTIIFULLL. All amazing. Beyond - jackson
The resort is stunning, the staff was beyond accommodating, kind, cheerful, welcoming, our Villa was magnificent. The Beach is wonderful. We had a Magical vacation.
By far the nicest hotel on the island. Amazing service, very good food, pleasant, always helpful staff. The roads are currently in disrepair, but I would recommend renting a car or at least getting out and about around the island. it is very beautiful and we saw almost no tourists at the other beaches and the many waterfalls.
From beginning to end, our experience at Silversands was simply incredible. Perhaps we didn’t know what to expect as it was our first time visiting Grenada but to our surprise, this was one of the best Caribbean vacations we’ve ever taken. The people here (on the island and at the hotel) are soooo nice! Just after booking, we received several inquiries from the property about making arrangements for pickup, reservations, excursions, room preferences, etc.. The staff was beyond accommodating. Then when we arrived, the lobby entrance’s curb appeal let us know instantly that we’ve landed in our new luxurious home for the week. The rooms are gorgeous, views are breathtaking and overall experience left us not wanting to leave. Little touches like a welcome snack and wine, a delicious breakfast spread, complimentary bottled water, beach yoga, weekly bonfire bbqs and so much more make this such a wonderful place.
We also visited the sister property (beach house) which was equally as amazing though slightly smaller. The water was a bit more rough there but still fine for swimming. I can go on about the great restaurants, service and impressively long swimming pool but you get the point. If you want a new, posh, luxurious experience for the discerning traveler, this is it. Enjoy!
Celebrated my 30th with the family and had an excellent time, particularly loved the 24/7 gym access and the spa. Room was great with a nice view, housekeeping services and staff in general were very pleasant and helpful. Special mention to Michael Noel who assisted us from check-in check-out and ensured we had a superb stay. Thanks again to alllll for my amazing bday!
We had a king ocean view penthouse room. Fantastic view, exquisite room design and overall quality. The interior designs used at the resort are very 'Scandi'/modern and minimalistic style, which we love, all of very high quality. Everything seemed very new, extremely well kept and cleanliness was superb. The resort is quiet and has a atmosphere of what I would call 'discrete elegance and sophistication'.
Location at Grand Anse beach is great - small restaurants and bars along the beach. Not crowded at all when we were there except for last 2 days bc cruise ships decided to dump some passengers on the beach via water taxis (yes, I despise cruise ships and their crowds). Good news even then - no-one will be in front of the resort nor on the next 100-200 years/meters of beach, so not a significant issue really.
Staff is very friendly in a way that does not seem forced nor makes you feel like a rich jerk who they are serving bc they have been told to do so. It felt like all were genuinely friendly and helpful.
If you are into the full local island experience and want to use the public busses, there is a stop right outside the hotel. If you like more upscale transportation, the staff is very helpful in arranging this.
'Value' is subjective and can always be debated, but we got a good price and a free upgrade via AMEX Platinum, so definitely recommend going that route if you have that card.
Beware - if you have to purchase breakfast for outside/extra guests, it's 70 USD per person! Way overpriced for what it is.
Visited with wife and baby in November. An amazing hotel, with excellent staff, service, and location. Will definitely be back!
This was my 4th stay with Silversands and I’m already booked for my fifth stay in 2026. It’s always a wonderful experience.
I’ve stayed in the months on June, December, Late April/early May and now late October. It doesn’t matter the month, it’s amazing in all the months.
I’ve really enjoyed the daily yoga and Pilates classes (except Sunday) that were added in 2024. Both Herli and Wilson are great. It’s poolside and a wonderful way to start the day.
My husband and I booked this resort intending to enjoy a quiet getaway for a week. Silversands delivered exactly that and more. The property is beautiful and well maintained and the management and staff was very attentive to our needs. The property manager Laurence was exceptionally helpful and came around every morning at breakfast to make sure any concerns were addressed. We enjoyed the variety of breakfast options every morning. The room we booked was beautiful, full of light and faced the ocean. We enjoyed the beach and long pool experience and the staff there were super attentive. Overall we were very impressed and plan to come back to Grenada and stay at Silversands again
We needed a peaceful getaway after a particularly difficult past few months. We booked the Silversands just for that reason, and we were not disappointed. Aesthetically it was a beautiful environment and the management and employees were on top of things. We felt very cared for there. I want to thank one person in particular, Laurence, the general manager, she resolved an issue very early in our stay, and she checked with us throughout our stay. Finally Dijon on the waterfront helped my wife and I to master the paddleboard
Really enjoyed staying here, it was quiet, clean and the staff were super attentive. The Spa was good but far too many mosquitoes to be able to spend any time by the pool and the prices dont include taxes which made it a huge shock. Other than that the food is insanely good if you like Thai style food - truly excellent and the time we spent was so relaxing - just what we needed.
I had dinner slat the Grenadian grill the food and service was the best yet, I loved that menu , the ribeye was my favorite also the property was beautiful to an extreme
How can I forget the server was a respectable young man he gave the best service he makes us want to come back again thank you silversands
We overall enjoyed our stay at the resort. It was our first time on the island of Grenada, and we both travel a lot and love to experience different upscale, luxurious properties. Check-in was seamless and we were offered refreshing beverages and cool towels on arrival. When given a tour of our suite, which was gorgeously styled and breathtaking, we did not realize some amenities commonly found in hotel rooms were not readily available or missing (no iron and ironing board, or cutlery and plates within the kitchenette). Later on we found out that the rooms are supposed to come with a portable flashlight to aid in walking on the beach in the evening-no flashlight was in our room. Also, we were told the beverages (bottled water, canned soda, sparkling water) in the mini refrigerator were complimentary, with the exception of the alcoholic drinks and the jars of snacks. However, this was not accurate, and we later were informed that only the bottled waters located on the counter were complimentary. The front desk manager Tara was very gracious in resolving this matter.
Breakfast is complimentary and decent, but they listed items on the menu or at the counter that were not offered or no longer available (cornmeal porridge, fried bake, plantains). The other front desk manager (gentlemen) was also gracious in resolving this matter too.
The pool and cabanas are stunning, and are first come, first serve. The majority staff are cordial and well mannered. The staff who attended to our suite were thorough and amazing.
Arranging transportation through the hotel is reliable, but is greatly overpriced, so research your options if it matters to you. And you can also walk up the beach to many great restaurants, just carry along your (room appointed) flashlight if you’re returning to/from dinner, because the beach is sparsely lit at night, but overall extremely safe.
My only gripe was their system in keeping track of guests leaving/returning to the property via the beach entry. They need to find a consistent way of keeping track of guests leaving the property, and making sure to be courteous about it. On several occasions, we were suspiciously confronted about whether we were guests. Of course, we would not mind an inquiry to verify guests staying on the property, but on some level, I suspect that their approach with us may have been racial bias-just a heads up. We were told on one occasion, that a staff member at the restaurant (nearest to the beach) did not recognize us, so they wanted to make sure we were guests. Why does it matter if this particular staff member recognized us?? We hadn’t ate at the restaurant yet, and we just arrived the day prior, so why is this particular staff member the reliable sole source of guests on the property? On another occasion, 7pm at night, I noticed a staff member from the same restaurant sneakily watched us walk along side the pool towards the beach, and then abruptly approached us when we reached the beach and started to walk off. He was very off putting and a bit confrontational when approaching us and asking for our room number. He further antagonized us by asking if we wanted a flashlight, and then remarked that if we were really staying on the property, we would know there were flashlights our rooms. Like previously mentioned, there was no flash light in our room; upon return to our room, I also asked the front desk staff where it was located just to be sure. This same staff member only left us alone after I mentioned that I saw him staring at us from the restaurant, so he was very aware that we came from the property.
Overall, my friend and I agree that we would return to Silversands, because of the amazing look of the property and the cordiality of the front desk staff and managers. Plus there are other great amenities, like the gym, and complimentary use of the sauna, and spa facilities, and the accessibility to other restaurants via the beach. Overall, we recommend.
We are returnees at Silversands Grenada, and our latest visit was, wonderful, as always!
It was a five-star experience from start to finish. From the time we set foot there, we were reminded why Silversands Grenada is the best Luxury resort in the Caribbean.
Silversands is an abundantly stylish and elegant setting throughout. Complemented by genuine hospitality from the staff we value so much. The greeting ceremony on arrival to the hotel is a taste of the service excellence Silversands exudes. It was a pleasure to meet Dennis the new manager on arrival .
The properties are always well maintained, with beautiful tropical gardens and immaculate beachfront with stunning views from every angle and not to mention the gorgeous Caribbeans largest pool.
The villa was as to be expected, a comfort palace and luxury paradise, tastefully decorated, with fully automated blinds and curtains. The culture of maintenance is clearly visible as everything is in perfect shape since our first trip five years ago.
Most of all, what distinguishes Silversands from other Caribbean upscale resorts is its conscientious dedication to guest satisfaction. The service staff always surpasses expectations, remembering guest preference and using those little touches that made our stay one to never forget.
Absolutely lovely, high-design resort right on Grand Anse Beach in St. George's Granada. Terrific staff whose first language is English, two nice restaurants, plenty of loungers poolside at a 100 meter long infinity pool. Gorgeous and very well appointed Spa. One hint? Don't rent a car unless you truly like living on the edge of annihilation! Cabs and busses are plentiful and much less stressful.
One of the best experience we ever had from the location, facility and staff. It was beyond and above our expectations. A fabulous stay
