The staff is very helpful, the inconvenient is the bathtub was very dirty
Bit too far out from the town. Not pedestrian friendly road. But Grab taxi from MAYA mall only 85-115 baht.
The people were very nice. It was a pleasure to go to the lobby and visit. The room was mostly clean although there was some mold and mildew in the bathroom. The shower wasn't because they use an instant hot water heater in the room. The water warm but never got warm enough to call it a hot shower. They did have breakfast but beyond that there weren't any amenities to speak of.
Hotel is really old, everything is ok
Will start with the positives, it for all intense purposes is a 'budget' hotel so cannot expect too much. The staff were very nice and friendly, the location is not too bad, the deluxe room we had was huge and cleaned/tidied to an ok standard every day... however its the small things that need to be sorted. The windows were filthy, tiles on the floor loose in places, breakfast terrible and the pool water was litterally a burnt orange colour and likely not been cleaned in months. If they just had a few extra staff to sort out the bits that are wrong it could be a fantastic hotel.
But for the budget price, the general cleanliness, location and staff, it still was a nice stay.
ROOM: We booked the family room (max. 4 ppl), the room was huge, two queen size beds, one sofa, one stall, one average closet, one dressing table, few shelves, and one bedside table in the middle of the two beds, one huge TV on top of a piece of furniture, and a fridge & freezer. The bathroom was ok as well, one sink, one toilet and one bathtub. The room had as well little balcony with one sink. The price was 1.284 THB per night.
BREAKFAST: It included the breakfast which you could choose between thai or american, the american breakfast was two sausages, one fried egg, one slice of ham, two slices of cucumber and one toast with butter and jelly. And also a coffee-chocolate-tea self-service station.
STAFF: About the staff, they were incredible they would help us in everything and more, taxis, buying bus tickets, booking zip lines, etc. Always with a smile.
WIFI: The wifi was not included, but you could buy 24h of wifi per 20 THB.
SURROUNDINGS: The Hotel is not central, but it isn't far of the center either. The thing is you can't go by walk anywhere because the hotel is in the highway. A taxi to the center may cost you 60 to 100 THB. Any way, a super good thing is that just next door, about 15 meters away for the Hotel there is a 7Eleven which is 24/7 and you can buy there any amenities, or food you might need.
Had to book into this budget hotel transiting back through Chiang Mai during the Loi Krathung Festival as our other accommodation was booked out. The staff were friendly and there was a nice little roadside food restaurant adjacent the hotel and 7 Eleven as well. Location is not great but OK for airport. Breakfast was adequate considering the budget price.
