Trevlig personal. Bra poolområde. Lite för små balkonger om man tex vill spela kort. Aircondition funkar bara när man är på rummet.

Appart’hotel à fuire si vous souhaitez dormir !
Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans cet appart’hôtel et nous n’avons pas fermé l’œil de la nuit.
. À quelques mètres des chambres, se trouve une discothèque, nous entendons la musique dans la chambre comme si nous y étions.
Les clients sont irrespectueux, hurlent toute la nuit et mettent la musique dans leur chambre sans que cela ne dérange le personnel.
. Notre chambre était à 2 pas de la piscine et du bar, nous n’avions aucune intimité et même la journée, la chambre était bruyante.
. À notre arrivée le gérant nous précise que nous devons régler la somme de 8€ par jour pour la climatisation alors que l’annonce précise bien que la climatisation est disponible sans supplément.
. Enfin nous avons dû régler une taxe de séjour de 2€ par jour, en liquide et sans aucun reçu ou justificatif.

I can’t say enough good things about the Mirage, spotlessly clean and friendly. Everyone we have met that works here has been lovely. First of all a massive thank you to Niko, you now feel like family. Also a massive thank you to Mike and Zak for making us feel welcome. The cleaning staff too have been amazing. The only downside has been a couple of other guests that I wish we had avoided but everything else has been outstanding.
If you are looking for a quiet holiday however, Malia would not be for you but if you have ear plugs it’s a fantastic place. It is definitely a party town but there are a lot of older visitors like us too in September. Crete is a beautiful island. Mochos a gorgeous little village in the mountains is definitely a place to visit for a Cretan night. The beach which is a short walk is beautiful with clear turquoise water.
The old town, again a short walk is crammed with lovely family run restaurants. Please visit the Mexican restaurant too where you will find “Spartacus” outside. The food is amazing and staff very friendly. All in all it has been a wonderful holiday and I would put that down to Niko ( you are the best) and everyone else.Thank you all so much.

‘s nachts veel lawaai door de uitgangsplaatsen in de hoofdstraat, ook aan het hotel zelf , in de namiddag, te luide muziek, altijd dezelfde, ondanks mijn vraag om wat meer variatie, en minder luid . » ik moest maar een andere hotel kiezen. »

My partner and I booked a trip to Crete in September, not realising that we had booked a hotel in Malia as we are not big party people we were worried we’d be kept up all night by the bars and clubs on the Main Street.
Our stay at Mirage Studios completely surpassed our expectations. We had the perfect romantic week away!
The owners and staff were so friendly and attentive, the room was perfect for our needs and cleaned daily.
The pool area and bar was magnificent with fresh food everyday and a quiet and chilled atmosphere, we really couldn’t tell we were staying in the party capital of Crete.
We loved every second of our week at Mirage Studios and would happily stay here again. Thank you!

Totally misleading advert. 8 Euro per day for aircon! 20 Euro to use the safe! WiFi extremely slow, mobile phone often slow in the area. Friendliness so so.

We went as a group of 6 girls during early July. We had seen some reviews saying the staff were rude and had issues with playing music etc, however the only thing we did experience was that the staff do barge into your room whenever they want, even when your sleeping. The rooms are clean and the pool is great, we were playing music every day before heading to the strip and had no complaints. It is in the best location if your there for a party holiday as it is directly on the strip but it isn’t loud when your trying to sleep so I would recommend. Another thing is that they are not bothered about bringing people back to the rooms (unlike other hotels around who are really strict). They also have a 24 hour bar/restaurant open which is decent food and good prices. We cannot complain about the rooms as they were really nice and the kitchenette had a fridge which was perfect. However we did have to pay around €40 each for aircon for the week which we were told was going to be free. Overall I would definitely recommend coming here on a boys/girls holiday and I wouldn’t be to disheartened by any of the really negative reviews because we had a great time!

Great time here with the boys nice pool and lovely guy called nico who works there is very funny and kind, pool table is good too.

Perfect location, 10 min walk to old town and 10 min walk to the beach. Right on the strip opposite Apollo. Perfect location. Hotel is very clean and modern with everything that you need. Great pool with plenty of sunloungers. Lovely owner and friendly staff. Great bar area with everything you would need.

Me and my friend came for the nice beach and clubbing and found this hotel to be extremely friendly, quiet, and close to everything. We definitely recommend especially considering the price

I stayed at this hotel with a friend for our girls holiday and was sadly disappointed with the treatment we received. Whilst the hotel itself was satisfactory, the staff were incredibly rude and had no respect for our privacy. We sat on our balcony to have pre drinks prior to the club, chatting and playing music although not too loudly, and one of the staff members walked over, grabbed our speaker and walked off with it and then told us to ‘f*ck off’ when we went to get it back. Additionally, we were woken up early every morning by the manager banging aggressively on our door, shouting at us for drinking on the balcony and for chatting to our neighbours. The manager even stole our neighbours balcony chairs as some sort of punishment. The staff were rude the entire time and seemed to be against us having fun, despite the fact that the hotel is placed directly in the middle of the Malia strip. If you are looking for a family holiday, do not stay here as there will be noise coming from the strip until at least 6am. And if you are looking for a fun holiday with a group of friends, be cautious about staying here as they will not allow you to go into your friends rooms or make any small amount of noise past 10pm. Extremely disappointed to say the least, if staff hadn’t been so rude the experience would’ve been a lot better.

Niko is the star of the show. Funniest man I think we’ve ever met.

Went as a lads holiday, group of 5. Perfect. Walk out the front doors of hotel and your in the middle of the strip. But yet, no noise can really be heard in hotel if balcony door is closed. Perfect for both partying and quieter holidays. Cleaners always kept the place clean. Staff incredibly friendly (especially niko). Biko would entice you down and introduce you to new arrivals. Perfect wingman.

Breakfast is decent quality if you book that it’s open til 10:30. Pool brilliant. Not massive but clean and deep enough to enjoy with in pool seating. Rooms are good size, showers and sinks good water projection. No cleanliness issues. Snacks and meals can be ordered at bar. Great alcoholic deals. Great group of people. And lots of girls for you to meet - I’m sure Niko will introduce you. Top man. Would return undoubtedly. Very cheap too

Great accommodation with kind staff and decent rooms. Although the rooms were small they were just what we needed. They had a very small kitchen with a comping stove and limited kitchen utensils but was still able to cook. The pool was great and the bar/cafe served good food and drink. It is right on the strip so good for young people and safe to get back too. Cleaners came every few days and changed sheets and towels which was very handy. Overall good experience, perfect for young people (we where a group of 12 girls) and would recommend

Went as a big group of girls. On the whole a decent hotel- good location, clean enough, amenities, nice pool, good price. The woman who owned the hotel was lovely as well - gave us some tips and felt safer in her hands. But the man who ran the bar though was disgusting and a creep for our whole stay. Some of the things he said to us included -
- “ I’ll look away if anyone gets sh*gged, very very sexy ladies, f*** me I’m so horny”
- “58 up here 21 down there”
- “Hubba bubba come to pappa”
- “I am your little daddy”
- “Too much punani, easy punani”
We felt unsafe and grossed out to the point that we stopped going to the bar and he should not be in that job.

The hotel rooms were lovely and kept clean the whole time with room service same time, everyday. The woman that checked us in was very blunt, harsh and not very helpful in any way. Not only that but she worried everyone by not bringing the right booking confirmation out and telling us we were leaving 2 days before we booked. That problem was soon resolved. The rest of the week she was still not very pleasant to talk to and was best to avoid. The rest of the staff were lovely and welcoming. Overall a decent experience and would suggest it to another group of teenagers going on a holiday due to the accessibility to the strip. But be aware of the strict rules in the hotel.

Decent studios and great location. Friendly family owned business.
Downsides:
We had to pay for the air con to be turned on which was ridiculous. They charge a nightly rate
We payed for breakfast on the first day but it’s not worth it, much better off going outside and finding great places for the same price or cheaper.
Otherwise not a bad little place.
