Gately Inn Entebbe

Gately is a quaint hotel that is always enjoyable. The staff are courteous, professional and attentive but not annoying. The facility itself is a bit nostalgic and unique, and along with that comes aging plumbing and electrical supply problems. You will enjoy Gately, particularly the staff, but expect a bit older amenities.

There was confusion with the expedia description that said there was full board in one place, which was not true.

The room is average, faced the road and the plumbing was terrible, the flush didn't work properly so it was good that it was just me and not two people in the room. The hotel is average for the price, I am sure there are better deals in the area.

This is an old style hotel with plenty of character. Comfortable bed and rooms with ensuite and really interesting decorations and artefacts. Good shower and a fan - important in hot weather. Good mosquito nets. A beautiful garden - though to be avoided at night because of insects. Great granola for breakfast and a good choice. Also a good chicken dish. Wi fi was reliable

Ich kenne Gately Inn seit 2008 und fühle mich sicher. Das ist mit wichtig, da ich meistens alleine reise. ( bin eine ältere Frau!) Shuttle and E-Mail Service ist hervorragend. So auch die Speisen und der Kaffee!!!

Gately has a 'home' feel, and has excellent employees that go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, making sure needs are addressed immediately. Food is good, rooms are comfortable and well furnished. You will enjoy you stay here!

This is a family owned business and they are very friendly! They are welcoming and accommodating.

LOVED this place. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Airport transport provided for free. Whole place felt like I was at a retreat, with so much green, yet in a great location close to the airport and across the street from a mall. Would definitely stay here again.

I arrived early morning and basically just slept over for a few hours. The shuttle was waiting for me as requested. Even though everyone was asleep at that time of morning, it seems like everything was arranged in advance because the driver of the shuttle knew where my room and the keys were. The room was prepared and ready. In the morning I had a very nice breakfast. Even the WiFi was working. Only complaint is about the shower arrangement. It is not separate from the other bathroom facilities. So once you have had your shower, every time after that if you go to the bathroom, you are basically forced to walk on a wet floor. That is not nice, especially if you are barefoot, but it could also be dangerous. I suggest having the shower seperate from the toilet and wash basin

I had an absolutely fantastic stay Gately Inn. The room was clean, the water was hot, and most of all the bed was incredibly soft. I don't know if it was the 30 hours marathon of flights I had just endured, but I could not get over how incredibly comfortable that bed was. So soft, that even the mosquito net looked romantic. The breakfast the next morning was also delicious the staff was very polite and professional.
