If you are lucky to get the room in this lodge - enjoy the great views and location
Pros:

Location of this lodge is its main and most important feature. When you open the door of your room and the first thing that you see is the Yosemite Falls... well, you kinda forget about how old and not exceptionally sterile the lodge is...
But still... I was there in January and it was quite cold and frosty outside, but the heating was working very well and the water was very hot in the shower as well.

Cons:

I would clean the room couple of times before refurbishing it...:)

Location is amazing! And I didn’t mind the rustic style, fits the setting

Cons:

The heaters are so outdated, it’s embarrassing how much they charge per night considering this apparently cannot be fixed. They make a ticking sound that makes it impossible to sleep, first time we experience this…
