Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.

Great location, lovely chilled vibe. Check the pool is open and stay 1 night in Huacachina

Welcome drink and social events (sunset walk & pizza and trivia night). Genuine and fun by Laura! Great location the beach

Cons:

Pool was closed for cleaning the whole time we were there (2 days), the activity member of stag was on holiday when we arrived so couldn’t ask questions and was supposed to be there in the morning at 10am but wasn’t before we left for Paracus at 11:30am. Stay a night in Huacachina as it’s rushed trying to make the last bus back to Paracus which was a shame as the Oasis is so beautiful at sunset. The reception staff at the Viajero Huacachina are more helpful.

Worth it
Pros:

Great location, really cool bar and pool with great vibe every night. 4 bed dorm was comfortable and the fan was very nice to have. Unlimited water for 7 soles in also great, as well as the pool table!

Cons:

Quite expensive for the area. But worth it for the social vibe
