Breakfast was good real value for money.
The smell of cigarette smoke in room 626 was there all the time and often exceptionally strong after cleaning so severely detracted from the perception of cleanliness. The actual cleaning was good. Apart from breakfast restaurant food was not great and did not represent value for money. By contrast mall food was excellent!
While not being arrogant enough to think everyone should speak English, communication with most desk staff was extremely difficult; they understood little even though we spoke slowly and simply. Not what is expected in an international hotel.
Near shopping mall which is HUGE and with a variety of food courts. Subway is connected with shopping mall so you have convenient access to public transportation.

Great stay, very pleasantly surprised. Staff is really top notch. Only unfortunate part is the idiotic illegal smoking from certain customers... which is still prevasive in China, a pity. Otherwise, everything was really terrific. The pool is a tad small, but the room is very big with great amenities. Was very pleased, as I said. would definitely stay again.
The staff was very accomodating, even helped us get transport for our daytrip to Mutianyu. The room was clean and spacious. Subway was also nearby and shopping mall Livet was right across the road.
Front desk was very uptight and not friendly at all. I walk in they don’t even greet me. I felt like they didn’t value their customers and i wish i could get a refund for this entire stay for my sons birthday. The room was disgusting the couch was stained with God knows what!!! There were flying bugs all over the room i kept having to kill. They do not have room service i spend most of the time outside the room to avoid being there. waste of money!!!

Room is of decent size and clean, unfortunately the aircond temp is fixed at 25c which is uncomfortable. Too warm to sleep.
Breakfast was excellent with good spread and tasty. Good coffee too.
Noticed some airlines crew was staying here as it is close to Daxing airport.
This was my second stay at Hyatt Place Beijing Daxing. Nice clean hotel with a reasonable basic spread of breakfast choices. Great place to stay for traveler that look for short walking distance to huge shopping mall that with many choices of fantastic restaurants and good shopping experience.

Good location for mid level shopping - a huge LIVAT mall is less than 10min walk away, Sam’s club is just next door, huge choice of dining options too. Nice little 7-11-like groceries in the next building too. 30min drive from the airport. Bed super comfortable and clean. Friendly staff.
Breakfast options were limited, floors in my room felt dirty, room very basic, more like 3*. AC barely works. Soundproofing is poor.
