Friendly staff, large shower, mild soap,
Comfortable bed, large room, clean and quiet.
No food available.
La cama y las almohadas fue lo único que me gustó.
Todo.
El peor desayuno. No estoy exagerando.

Overall we had a fantastic stay at the Cambria. It’s location next to the subway was top notch. Hotel was clean and rooms were serviced well. Clean towels and straightened daily. Space on the rooms and size of the bathrooms were great. Christmas decorations added to the ambiance. Negatives were the the breakfast. It was only offered 7-9am and was lacking in protein and diversity. The coffee making process was slow using cups and a mini Keurig. The hotel staff, minus one night staff member Sonny, were fantastic. Had an issue with a neighbor in the hotel that the night staff would not address (tv volume was extremely loud and preventing sleep) and was very dismissive about and rude in our conversations. Called me a “treat” to my daughters face, and was rude to her. All the rest of the staff we interacted with were great. Overall, great value for the price and would stay here again.
It was easy to get in and out of the Lyft in the driveway. It is just around the corner from a 711 and restaurants but I didn’t learn that until the last day. The staff were really nice. Even though it was close to the rail yard and freeway it was very quiet.
The heat was stuck on and it was warm and stuffy in the room. It was a 20 minute walk to the opposite side of the convention center. I ended up taking Lyft each day of the 5 day conference. The rates were really high due to the convention.
I stayed here over the summer and really enjoyed it—the upstairs rooftop bar and restaurant were beautiful, and the lobby restaurant was also very nice. However, I returned tonight for a one-night stay and was extremely disappointed to find that none of the restaurants or bars are open because it’s considered “off-season.” Message to management - this is Boston, not Florida—seasonality shouldn’t mean restrictions for food or alcohol service at all.
They don’t offer any food or drinks on the property, which I found very unusual. With temperatures around 25 degrees, having to walk outside to find a restaurant was not ideal. We ended up at Fox & Fire (maybe wrong name), which was wildly overpriced and didn’t even offer a standard selection of drinks. For example, no higher end vodkas like Grey goose, just a brand they make.
I definitely won’t be staying here again. As for the rooms, they feel very bare—plain white walls with no artwork or character, which made the stay feel uninspiring. My first visit was good, but this time was not. I would recommend staying outside of South Boston and closer to the North End instead.
Great location and stylish, modern, comfortable, well-appointed rooms with a nice view. It felt more luxurious than the cost - a good value. Southie is just outside the middle of everything and feels like coming home after a day in the more bustling part of the city. You are a 15-20 min walk or a T stop or two from everything. We walked to Snoport holiday market along the harbor. Across the street from Broadway T stop, easy walk to Copley area too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Valet driveway was tiny and easy to miss-I had to drive around twice.
Handy location near an accessible subway station, comfortable room, kind staff.
The breakfast was underwhelming to say the least.
Great hotel & location and Sunny on the front desk is an absolute gentlemen!!!!! He went above and beyond with his hospitality and kindness to me which I so appreciated! Every hotel needs a Sunny!!!!!
Convenient location and clean
NA
I have no bathroom door. Seriously. See the photo.
That wasn't the first surprise I encountered here, I also learned that the restaurant, bar, and rooftop lounge were all "temporarily" closed. There's a continental breakfast consisting of hard boiled eggs and a few pre-packaged muffins. Really?
Now, the bed was extraordinarily comfortable, the temperature well maintained by the HVAC unit, internet was fine, shower was great with plenty of hot water... And there's a great view from every room...but every room is a dorm room, not a high-end hotel room.
There's nowhere to put your luggage, there's one lousy chair and something resembling a TV tray, and the desk space is pie shaped.
End of rant.
I will say that Sunny at the front desk is extraordinarily helpful and does his best to apologize on behalf of the lackluster management. I don't think they're reading these reviews, but hopefully you do. Stay away unless all you need is a good night's sleep and a quick walk to the Broadway T station (over which this hotel was built).
