The hotel itself was nice, efficient, accommodating, and clean. It is centrally located and the room had a cool vibe. I will say that the breakfast experience was among the worst I’ve ever had in my 20 years of traveling. The first day, the chef vocally argued with the manager and I didn’t get my food after an hour.
Close to public transport
Not what we paid for- no roof top bar, no bar at all, no restaurant, no breakfast included, even though we had paid for it.
By far my worst experience on booking com to date. Very disappointing.
Booked for day use. Hotel was very clean and room was a nice size. Free WiFi. Check process was quick and front desk staff was helpful. Even calling up to let us know when other guests were leaving to take train going to the concert we were attending. Location was great. Short ride from the airport. In the downtown area in close proximity to other places I visited. The train stop is just across the street so east to get around.
The hotel is clean and centrally locted.
Pricing was on a higher side considering the services offered.
The hotel was clean and very modern. Our only critiques are the lack of room near the headboard-the cabinet protrudes out and makes the space claustrophobic and didn’t provide much space as a night stand. Also, the breakfast Wasn’t the best. The room works better for a single traveler not a couple.
Location was across from the Red Line which was convenient. There were restaurants around the corner open until 10 pm. Room was comfortable, but lighting was a little dark. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
Third time staying here and it’s great ! Pelaton in the gym . Great security elevator for solo travelers. Good location to everything. Good value for money.
Good location, good price, valet available
Room was very nice and clean👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I am extremely disappointed by my interaction with Jackie at the front desk of the Cambria Hotel.
From the moment she answered the phone, her tone was noticeably dismissive, low-energy, and impatient. I initially gave her the benefit of the doubt, assuming she may have had a long day, but the interaction quickly became unacceptable.
While I was calmly asking a simple question regarding an issue in my room, Jackie abruptly hung up on me. During the conversation, she also called me an "idiot" and made disparaging remarks about my appearance. I was shocked to be treated this way as a paying guest who was simply trying to resolve a concern.
Regardless of how busy or stressful a shift may be, there is never an appropriate reason for a hotel employee to insult a guest, make personal comments, or terminate a call in this manner.
Because of this experience, I have completely lost confidence in the level of customer service at this property. Unfortunately, my interaction with Jackie has left such a negative impression that I would not choose to stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to others.
Stayed for just one short night as we were in town for a college graduation, so don't have a ton of things to comment on. We were greeted very nicely by the front desk staff and the valet attendant was very friendly and accommodating. The room itself was clean and spacious. The free breakfast in the morning was a bonus, as was the hotel's proximity to the T and to the seaport area. There seemed to be some cute coffee shops nearby, but did not have the time to check them out.
The room was large. The shower was nice. There was ice available from an ice machine. It was near the elevator.
We only had housekeeping service one of the 3 days!! The lighting other than the bathroomw was HORRIBLE! We had to use the flashlight from our phones. The refrigerater blinked off and on continually. Upstairs view area was closed for renovation so no fire works! The consierge service was a joke. The breakfast and selections were limite4d and marginal. The price for the value was obscene.
Room was clean and spacious with a good sized bed. Staff were helpful and friendly. There is a small seating area at reception which is pleasantly cool.
The free breakfast is poor. Weak coffee processed cheese slices and ham and powdery scrambled eggs. Again friendly staff but poor quality good.
The room was clean, shower was good, views were great as we had a corner room facing Downtown and South Boston. Bed was very comfy, wish it was my own bed at home (and I dont say that lightly!)
Breakfast was very basic, thats the only thing I can say was a negative.
Great little hotel! Workers were friendly, ac was great, and right by the T. Would stay again!
Our room outlets were all out except for the beside ones. We felt like we were in the dark the whole time. The lamps were too large and heavy to move two large to a plug that worked. It was the one in the bedroom and living room. We wanted to check out the rooftop, but it was locked every time we would try, no matter what time. I normally would not complain, but I was disappointed and regretted that I had canceled my Hyatt reservation to stay here.
The breakfast staff were sweet, and the morning staff member, when I checked out, was wonderful and kind.
Lovely staff, convenient part of Seaport
Nothing negative to say
