Due to the issues mentioned above our experience was not the best it could have been.
Pros:

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Staff very professional, helpful and friendly.

Cons:

I had previously requested (over the phone) for one of our rooms to have accessibility due to my husband being a wheelchair user. It was conformed that we would be in a twin room on the ground floor. However at check in we were told that there was an issue with the shower in this room but we were able to be put in another room with accessible shower on the second floor.

Our rooms were very satisfactory. We did however and problems getting to our room.
1. The doors going from the reception to the lift are only just wide enough for my husband's electric wheelchair to squeeze through.
2. The lift is very small and not big enough to manoeuvre the wheelchair in. We had to collapse this and my husband had to step into the lift. Fortunately he has a limited amount of mobility.

3. On vacating our room we were restricted from exiting the lift on the ground floor due to the housekeeper leaving multiple items on the floor making manoeuvrability difficult. She did offer to move these but they should not be left next to and across from the lift.

4. I had pre booked a table in the restaurant for an evening meal. There was a quiz night function in the restaurant so we were told we could eat in the bar which was acceptable. When I went up to the very busy bar to order our food and drinks I was told that 1 of the items on the menu were no longer available, we then chose an alternative option and placed & paid for our order.

After about a 20mins wait I had to go back to the bar to ask for our dinks. 30mins a member of staff came to out table and informed us that 1 of the items ordered were no longer available. As this was available when ordered this should not have occurred. I then had to chose a further option and wait a further 30mins for our meals to be prepared.

The issues were mainly due to the bar/restaurant being very busy and being extremely under staffed. This being said the staff on duty were lovely and very sympathetic.

Pros:

The room was a bit smaller than expected but other than that no complaints. It was clean and comfortable. Enough for the amount of time we were there. The breakfast was delicious. Lots of choice.
