Nothing
Great location. Pleasant, central but relatively quiet.
Great breakfast, plenty of choice.
Nothing to note
The breakfast was ok if you liked full English
It was nice to have breakfast brought to the table all cooked fresh the coffee was basic
And only bread for toast no fruit or yogurt on the table
There could be a bit more choice at breakfast
Basic coffee
And no fresh fruit
Great location with easy routes into Middlesbrough town centre.
Nice comfortable bed with clean sheets
Breakfast was included which was nice, excellent menu and friendly staff
The hotel part was slightly grubby and the corridor could do with brightening up!
Room was fine
As with most hospitality venues these days understaffed and overworked Slow service and soup spoons for a sundae glass never replaced when requested. Breakfast also slow.
Everything
Nothing
The Sunday dinner was lovely and really good for the price also the staff where very friendly and helpful.
Bedroom quiet apart from alarm at 7am
Microwaved egg
I loved the location of the property seemed very local to everywhere you needed. I loved the feel of the property a proper pub b&b. As well you get discount on food and rink which was very handy and made us utilise the pub rather then going out for food.
We stayed over the hottest bank holiday in May and found our rooms very hot even with the window open (closing the curtains so we didn’t get insects in the room) this could be a simple fix of providing fans in every room for a more pleasant experience. At breakfast the menu is good but no alternative milk present so had to be that customer who asked of a morning.
Good location
The whole Hotel needs refurbishing. Corridors very scruffy.
Room was fine (Double) - Had everything you needed. Breakfast was spot on - Full English Breakfast, well presented, hot!
Staff very nice - Receptionist/Bar lady and waitress.
Large hotel - Sports (Footy) was on - Loads of TV's which was a bonus, loads of places to eat - Really nice atmosphere!
Only criticism I had was that the pillows were hard! - Apart from that - Great!
