Room was comfortable, location wonderful, the bell hop was extremely helpful and nice. Parking staff very friendly and helpful.
Check in/out staff could have been more friendly.
My problem was not with the hotel which was fine. Dated but fine. My real problem was with booking.com. I paid to have breakfast included in my booking. When I got to the hotel, I was informed that breakfast was not included. I rang booking.com support (not for the first time during this episode). I was informed to do the following:

I did just this. My family and I ate at the hotel each morning. We got an itemised bill at the end of our stay. I sent this bill/invoice as requested to booking.com support. After multiple chasing on my part, I was informed this morning that I am only getting 1/5th of what we paid for at the breakfast. A complete farce. The breakfast was fine (albeit expensive). There is no-way we would have eaten there if we knew we were paying out of our own pockets, however since we were assured 'breakfast was included' and would be refunded post trip we used this.
So 15th December after multiple emails and hour long phone calls where i was invariably cut off - we have since been informed that we are only getting 1/5th of our money back.
Complete shit show. Be very very wary of booking this hotel through booking.com

Toilet seat did not fit the bowl and kept slipping when you sat on it.

Our room did not look like it was prepared for us to be there. It was dirty and we had a hard time getting the staff to understand and compensate or make things right.
The location is fantastic. Very accessible to walk to all sights and attractions. There are so many restaurants and shops just steps away from the hotel. Great location for evening strolls.
The housekeeping staff are very aggressive and have no regard for the privacy of guests and will enter the room even if there is a “DO NOT DISTURB” sign on the door. It’s terrible and I will not stay at this location again for this reason. The front desk staff and bell staff are wonderful and the breakfast is fantastic.
The doorman was extremely helpful when we arrived. Very informative and friendly along with the rest of the staff.
So busy to get to the hotel.
Came to visit friends and decided to get a room for myself. I’ve stayed here before and happily stayed again. Check in was easy and the gal was very nice. Not a fan of the resort fee, even if you do get half back a day to use on property. I did need to get back in my room after check out and asked the maid to open but she said she couldn’t. That was annoying but I appreciated the extra security knowing she wouldn’t just take my word for it that it was my room. It was a breeze to go to front desk and to let me back in for a moment. Location is great!
We didn’t eat breakfast there. Our room was excellent and the price was good!
My previous stays, those in the past, were not so great, but this one was far better, as it seems, this particular property has been seeking for improvement, and they actually did better. Hotel grounds, facilities and the rooms are good and as they're supposed to be, definitely matches Westin standards. Member of staff has been friendly and supportive, all good.
