Perfect place for what we needed.
Pros:

I loved our room and location. I especially loved the lighted makeup mirror (just like mine at home). The breakfast was good but a little eclectic for my taste, and a bit expensive.

Good hotel in a central location
Pros:

The location near the river and the ice district was great. Service was all around fantastic. The hotel amenities like the pool and the fitness centre were great. The room was a bit dated but very clean and spacious. Don’t forget to walk by the Fairmount hotel to take the free funicular to the river. Once they touch up the rooms and especially the bathrooms, it will be a great hotel.

A tad dated
Pros:

The rooms are a bit dated for a Westin although I don't have any specific complaints. Check in was really easy and they let me check in early, which was appreciated. Centrally located, which is good for business. The lobby bar was kindof limited but functional I think just with a spruce up the hotel could be a 4 star.

In need of a renovation
Pros:

I stay here at least once a year but this hotel is really starting to show its age.

Checkin was easy but by 630 all the underground parking was taken. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room is definitely aged. The rugs appeared dirty, the furniture was scuffed, and I’m not sure how well they cleaned but when I lifted the toilet seat there were spots underneath of… something. Luckily I had my own Lysol cleaning wipes. The ice maker on my floor was also not working so I had to go to a different floor.

My room was also incredibly hot when I checked in. 24 degrees and got up to 25. The AC unit wasn’t working. I asked them to get maintenance to fix it when I went for supper, checked it was fixed when I came back and my room was still 25. Turns out he was sent to the wrong room. When they finally came and fixed it the maintenance guy was so fast and very polite. He was an angel.

When I was getting ready to check out there was a knock at my door. They were already trying to get in before check out time. It was quite awkward.

Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal, Zimmer sehr groß, unsere Unterkunft war im Nebengebäude, welches ruhiger erscheint.

Cons:

Great hotel with old facilities but in reasonable conditions.
Pros:

Great location, City Hall, Museums, convention centres, River trails, everything within walking distance. Staff are friendly. Facilities are old but in reasonable condition. Swim pool and sauna are great, too.

Cons:

The air conditioners under the windows were too loud, waking us up at midnight.
