I had read mixed reviews about the property, this was our first family ski trip to Steamboat. We actually thought the Sheraton was great. It is in front of both Gondolas, it’s really the center of the base of the mountain. You can rent your skis in the floor below. They will keep them for you overnight. We thought the condos were spacious and well equipped. It honestly did not felt dated to us. Our room looking at the smaller gondola , my only complaint was the noise of a machine that probably moved the little snow there was. Personell was very kind. We avoided the breakfast that is offered to explain the owners benefits as we’ve found that they use hard sell tactics. Lobby is spacious and the property has a Starbucks type coffee shop and a mini market in site. The pool and tubs are nice. My daughters enjoyed a cowboy boot painting activity. We plan to be back
Just got back from a great stay at The Sheraton in Steamboat Springs. It’s a fabulous location with the slopes just a stones throw away. We found the staff to be remarkably helpful & our unit clean & comfortable. We enjoyed the full service restaurant in the lobby & the market where you could pick up food to go, snacks, wine, & some novelty items. We were completely satisfied & will return. Thank you!
View was good, weather was nice and the ride up the gondola was good.
The parking garage is a nightmare. Dark, very crowded & noisy, hard to find a spot to park. The concierge recommended a restaurant that was closed and it took 2 days to find out that there is a free bus around town. Very poor communication. The room also did not have a balcony you could walk out and sit on. Only a door that opened. There was a view but you couldn't really enjoy it mostly sitting in the room.
This place was incredibly disorganized. We stayed three nights had to check in and out of our room twice for the price of the rooms. They were small. The pillows were horrible and I would probably not stay there again.
This ski-in/ski-out resort property is Ski Central. It has many conveniences but is a little dated. There is a nice bar/grill and market/gift shop near the lobby.
Our extended, multi-state family stayed a week in a couple of 2-bedroom suites that were connected by a door. Overall, it was a great stay.
I didn’t make the reservations, so there were a few surprises. After a few days without fresh towels (or coffee or cleaning), we washed our own towels using the washer and dryer. We finally called the desk and were informed that housekeeping is only available for guests staying ten or more nights. However, they quickly delivered fresh towels and coffee packs to our room.
Each bedroom was private, with a lockable door. However, the main bedroom had a return air vent near the ceiling through which we could see (and hear) into the living area. Most perturbing was the lack of any fitted bedsheets. We woke up a few times with our faces on a bare mattress. The pillows were enormous but we got used to them.
The bathrooms were updated, although the shower’s water temperature swung from lukewarm to scalding every minute or so. The toilet height seemed unusually low.
The sofa had a hideaway bed. WiFi credentials appeared on the TV welcome screen. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets were hidden with other expendables under the kitchen sink.
Skiers will love the convenience. The basement level has ski rentals, a large gift shop and other amenities. And of course, the gondola access was incredible.
They quit using fitted sheets and every morning everyone in our group woke up sleeping on the bare mattress. This was very disgusting since everyone before us probably had the same problem and you know they don't clean the mattresses between uses. Also the sheets didn't even go all the way to wrap around the bottom. If it wasn't for this, our trip would have been great.

Disappointing stay — needs major updates and improved service
We stayed at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas from October 7–11 and, unfortunately, our experience was less than acceptable.
While the location is convenient, the property itself is in serious need of attention. Our one-bedroom villa was very dated and uncomfortable. Several electrical outlets did not work, and light switches were placed in odd, inaccessible spots (one even behind a television). Overall, the unit felt worn out and overdue for an upgrade.
Housekeeping was unacceptable — towels were changed, but no meaningful cleaning was done during our stay. The lobby market was only open briefly in the early morning and late afternoon, which made it inconvenient for guests. Staff interactions were polite but minimal; service felt perfunctory at best.
As a Marriott Lifetime Platinum member, I received no acknowledgment, upgrade, or welcome gift. Recognition of loyalty status was completely absent.
I do not recommend this property. With so many better-maintained options in Steamboat Springs, the Sheraton Villas fell far short of the Marriott standard I’ve come to expect.
Facility was nice and short drive to hiking, restaurants and shopping. I called ahead to confirm that Tesla charging was available. In actuality, there was ONE working Tesla charger
and one non-functioning one, There also was another general EV charger. We stayed 3 nights and none of the chargers were ever available. We had to go into town to charge.
