The Sheraton awarded themselves 5 stars. There is no way that this is a luxuary hotel
Cons:

When I book a double room, I expect a double room, especially when I booked almost a year in advance. I can't help feeling that the Sheraton see's that the booking was made via booking.com and takes the booking with less gravitas than they should.

Lima Clásica
Pros:

Cons:

Todo perfecto.

disappointing. it is very far from 5* hotel
Pros:

some of the employees were nice.

Cons:

breakfast was terrible, after trying once we did not go back for the breakfast as it was really poor quality and taste. on top you need to pay extra for example for sparkling or bottled water. big mold issue in the bathroom. we got offered to change the room but unfortunately all bathrooms had similar problems. room service offer was very limited and even that experience was bumpy. no amenities in the rooms apart of the bar soap. I expected 5 star hotel as it says on booking, but on the building it says 4 and even this is very questionable sadly. hotel is very old and needs major renovation. I stayed in many hotels in Peru and this one I would not recommend.

The rooms were completely empty by any amenities and quite old. Certainly we do not suggest as hotel in Lima.
Pros:

The location and the staff politeness

Cons:

The room were without any amenities(shower cup, slippers, tea, coffee, kettle for hot water)
Tab faucets didn’t work, bed light switcher didn’t work.
All in all very disappointing for being a Sheraton hotel.

Goed bed, best goed geslapen.

Cons:

Dated landmark hotel in central Lima.
Pros:

You should be aware that the Sheraton is a landmark hotel in Lima steeped in history. The design would merit an architectural listing in the UK. The central atrium is dizzying. The hotel is dated and harks back to the 60's but that is part of the appeal. It would be unfair to compare it and it's facilities to a newer four or five star hotel. The location is a short walk to the historic centre of Lima. This isn't Miraflores! It's old Lima. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was an excellent size with a large comfy bed.

Cons:

On each night the air conditioning broke down flooding the bathroom area with water.
