Lynette should not only be an employee here she should own stocks. And this company, she's amazing inside and out and provided us the best customer service we've ever experienced. Although the hotel could use some updates, she made it worth it. Lyne
Lynette was awesome! She was very helpful and I appreciate her help with a lot of things
I want to thank Lynette for being so helpful.
Lynette was very friendly and helpful in many ways, making our stay at the hotel a very memorable experience.
Her smile alone makes her very approachable.
Beautiful hotel centrally located on Michigan Ave, shopping everywhere right out the door. Front desk very helpful. And sweet Lynette (pictured) she is the greeter for the hotel and is amazing! She is so helpful and knowledgeable, and always has a smile!
Lynnette in the lobby was the best! Super helpful with dropping bags, suggestions around the city, and making sure we were set and comfy all around. (Including breakfast BEFORE we checked in!) It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!
This was a great experience with wonderful customer service. Room was clean and ready quickly upon arrival even though we were early. Lynette was our greeter at the door and she made us feel so welcome and gave great options for things to do around the hotel and how to get there! I loved staying at this Hampton!
Location is excellent for what i like to do in Chicago , Ramen san deluxe across the street is my favorite , check in was a breeze , had a courteous staff , never waited long for a elevator , room was adequate
AC is ancient , if it's not blowing out cold air , shut it completely off and then back on and it should start to blow cool air.
Convenient and good breakfast
Wish the pool was working.
Lynette provides wonderful services every day!
Lynette she did a wonderful job. It was me and my husband here from out of town and she did an outstanding job. She helped us with directions very pleasant and she needs a raise and ashe did a wonderful job. It was me and my husband here from out of town and she did a outstanding job. Lynette treated us very well! She gave us great suggestions of things to do in Chicago. She is a breath of fresh air to see her smiling face greet us as we started our day
Lynette and Ivan went far above and beyond and were extremely friendly.
Lynette was wonderful, greeting us warmly and making sure we were settled in comfortably from the moment we arrived. Not only were her food recommendations incredible, but her warm smile each time we came and went made us feel truly at home.
Location is fantastic and we walked to almost everything.
Front desk staff was friendly and quick.
We had to change rooms immediately since the thermostat was set at 65 and the air conditioning was doing nothing to cool the room and air not even moving. The 2nd room was set at 65 and air was moving at least, but nowhere near 65. - rooms air conditioning poor
The gym was nice and the view was great, but did not know the pool was closed for renovations which was a disappointment with the heat.
The elevators took forever. Understanding it is a large hotel, but at times took over 10 plus minutes to arrive. We ended up taking the stairs from the 15th floor most of the time.
The breakfast was fine and kept stocked , but with so many people there was nowhere to sit and with the elevators it wasn't worth trying to bring back to your rooms.
The rooms, hallways etc need updating. Carpet throughout was very worn, in our room it was snagging in a large patch. Furniture looks old and worn.
No microwave which would have been helpful for leftovers.
Bathroom was supplied with lotion and shampoo and conditioner which was nice but no longer stuck to the shower wall with just the glue remenants remaining.
I think finding a fake fingernail on the floor of the room was gross, but at that point picked it up with a kleenex and just threw it away. - make sure to keep shoes and/or socks on.
The stay was great! We came 4th of July weekend and Lynette was the first person we saw after landing and suggested us some great places!
Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly.
The a/c in our room never turned off and the temp never got below 78 degrees and the mini fridge wasn't very cold either.
The experience at this hotel has to be one of the worst in all my travels. The room had dirty carpet, dirty shower, and the air conditioner did not work. After reporting the air conditioner they sent a fan to use and said to come back tomorrow after everyone checks out and they will give us another room. The next day we checked back at the front desk and was told it was sold out and there were not any rooms available. We were then told in the morning to bring our luggage to the desk (basically check out of the room) and then they can change rooms. We were not told that the first night. After two nights without air conditioning (so had to open door and put fan in by the hall so it could cool down the room) the third night we were finally moved to another room. We only stayed 3 nights and that was enough. We will never go back there again. They get a 0 for customer service, and cleanliness. This experience put a big disappointment in our trip!
